Digging this post up from the grave because I've just learned the greatness of it! I can mine for ONION with my Antminer S9 because it has an autoexchanger! My miner mines SHA256 coins all day long randomly picking and choosing based on current profitablity at the time then once the blocks are found, my shares of that coin are calculated they get autoconverted into onion...  The only problem is that they always seem to be low on Onion for payouts, and I have to keep switching back to getting paid in BTC or LTC. If they had a steady stock of onion I'd be mining around 8-9 onion a day which is pretty damn good in my opinion!

I found out about DeepOnion in August and bought 2500 Onions with no expectations, I bought soley on the name and my knowledge of TOR.
I could not join the airdrop at the time so I invested as much as I could...I eventually got in the airdrop, but have still purchased near 7000 onions in addition to the 2500!

Since then Ive seen, not only does Onion has the strongest community growth, most active development team always releasing new updates and addons...

I've tested waters with 5+ ICOs... only 1 was successful.

The problem with ICOs, is they list a dev team, roadmap, whitepaper etc. Most of them have no created technology before contributions start.

In my opinion with ICOs you are investing on a complete gamble, a promis that "said" team will eventually produce "X" results.

With my lack of ICOs I have now avoided them altogether.

I prefer to do research in already activated coins and do some research certain things I look for are:

• Interesting whitepaper
• Furturistic technologies
• Current roadmap
• Goals met to date and implementations, judging activity of Development team.
• Then I look into the community.
• If the community is very active and the coin has a great following this is major.

If the development team is constantly active, and the community is massive. I consider it a great investment. DeepOnion is one in particular where the Development team is almost daily updating new additions. Whether updates to wallets, technologies, new websites, whitepapers, additional exchanges.. they seem to have something new added daily. Aside from that they have near 60k followers between all mediums. Their official community forums have just under 14k members registered.

DeepOnion Development team never sleeps and the community behind the coin makes sure they Dominate any exchange listings or any sort of promition. Very good investment in my opinion. The price is super low due to users dumping free $onions received through airdrop and VIP rewards, but I can see this coin easily going 10x.. possibly even 100x!

I have a checklist:

• Engaging whitepaper and roadmap
• Advanced technologies, futuristic developments.
• Low Supply
• Continuous Active development team
• Community size
• Community engagement
• Rare/unique features
• Successful completion and following of roadmap consistently

I take all of these into account and look at these factors. If the coin has advanced and unique technologies, a great whitepaper and roadmap, the development team is constantly active meeting and exceeding their goals, and the community is massive behind it.... to me it is a good investment.

If a coin does not contain all of these features I do not bother. These are the keys to a successful coin.

This is the reason I have in My Opinion very few GOOD, STRONG altcoins that I hold, possibly 5-10 at most. I've bagged up on those, and hold tiny portions of say 15 other decent coins but again in my opinion they dont have ALL the features I've listed above, but i still see some potential in them. A long term hold of even a little amount could go a long way..

I have been hodling my bitcoin white for quite some time now!!

If you didnt update to wallet 1.7.0+ and you are trying to verify with wallet 1.6.3, your now on the wrong chain. That is why it is returning the result.

You should have updated 4 weeks ago to 1.7.0.

Other updates are security upgrades/connection issues some users were having.

Can anybody higher up get an official word from KuCoin as to what the delay is?

Ive invested into ADA a bit, and some others, but I personally feel like the coin to buy before it hits the moon is DeepOnion.

I believe privacy coins are the future of cyrptocurrency altogether. OMG finally... I got my coins days ago.. but between such a hectic weekend at work and everything I've now got my new masternode setup, and its showing green on the list and ive received my first masternode reward.

Staking is working great too for my extra coins...

What is going on here??? I lost over 100 1uP coins for "minting" it was -49.9 from my balance 13 times, but only +50 10 times.... due to this bug I am now missing over 100 coins.

I updated to the new wallet and it didnt change my balance coins are still missing..

Glad to have finally gotton my coins and that the snapshot version was canceled... but i sent my swap 18 days ago before receiving coins.. while others waited til last minute.

It was a 1:1 swap and people probably ran their node/staked til the end..... i guess I swapped too early but glad to have coins and my masternode up and running once again finally. Yet to receive first reward but soon enough hopefully
