Of course cryptocurrencies are here to stay, in my opinion,  it's getting adopted slowly worldwide like the latest Starbucks news. Although mass adoption will take some time but it's gonna happen. Cryptocurrencies are the way to the future and it's gonna be used by the masses in the near future.

Re: What you should do when you lose most of money?
by
xsaints128
on 05/08/2018, 10:58:09 UTC
Hello guys, there are always financial losses in the field of trading and this is a normal thing, but unfortunately there is a  category of traders does not accept these losses.  Plus, the not acceptance of the truth may affect them negatively like, psychological problems, stress .. and even on the next choices in trading, but this leads to a multiple and consecutive losses.

In fact,  the first and most essential thing to surpass the loss is "The acceptance of the truth"  and then you have to  " deal with it " in a good way.

Trust me, if you learn from your mistakes, then you will earn what you want.

I learned something very useful and I want to share it with all.

These are the 5 steps to make a financial profit (especially after a big loss) and even achieve your goal, they will be as the following ( like a plan)  :

Step 1 : What do I want to achieve? (Vision)
For example:
I want to earn 2 BTC within a year.

Step 2 : What is their  importance to me? ( Value )
For example: It is important to me because I am poor and I want to help my family in many things.

Step 3: How will I achieve it? ( Methods )
For example: I must have many strategies in each event ( crisis, pump )
..
..
Step 4 : What prevents me from achieving it? (Obstacles)
For example: time,  unexpected event, the fear , weak of self confidence...

Step 5 : How do I know that I  have achieved the success? (Measurement)
For example: ..
..

When I see 2 BTC in my wallet before one year.

Good luck to everyone . Smiley

I agree with you on all points, losses are a part of financial field and the main thing is how you deal with it. No need to get stressed out and all because that's gonna effect your decision making in the next trade and you'll end up taking some really bad decisions. So just stay calm and you'll end up taking some good decisions.

Re: Never Be greedy!

While trading we have to follow few rules and without following those rules there is no way to be a successful one except a successful by chance. There are lots of rules of them greedy plays a vital role. While trading never be greedy. If you become greedy while trading then you can be assured that there is 90% possibility to be a lessor.

Most of the times greed can lead to major losses in your portfolio except when your luck favours you. I've had some experiences when I acted greedily and incurred some huge losses so now I've learnt my lesson and now I don't act greedily. As the saying goes, "There is no greater calamity than being consumed by greed."

Re: 10 Mistakes you should never do in crypto trading✌✌

10 MISTAKES YOU SHOULD NEVER DO IN CRYPTO TRADING  Wink Cheesy

LET'S START  Cool

1/ Don't be so greedy,as something is better than nothing. If you get 10% profit then try to sell out and exit.Otherwise you will lose all your money if you want more than 10%.

2/ Never buy altcoins when bitcoin price is unstoppable.

3/ Never invest your all money in one coin you must diversity.

4/ Don't sell your coins at loss, don't get into panic sale.Because if you brought protensial coin, then don't sell your coin if it dump.Because it will grow again after some days.

5.Never invest all btc in altcoins keep some btc in wallet for right time.If you like one coin most, don't invest your all money on this coin.Keep some btc for right time.

6/ Always make your portfolio, decide part if short and long time.

7/ Don't sale your long term coins at panic sale. You should hold your long term coins for 1 or 2 years.

8/ Don't do trading with your emotions keep them aside.

9/ Don't do day trading without proper knowledge. Before learning day trading don't go for it.Otherwise you will lose your all money.

10/ Never buy coins at their all time high price.Don't buy coin at their high price, wait for dump and buy at deep.

Guys if you follow this 10 strategy, then I'm sure you will be safe from losses. Cheesy Cheesy

I agree with you on all points except the first one because I sold many of my really good investments for short term profit, whereas, if I had kept holding my investments for long term I would easily have made atleast 10x on most of my investments. But it's only valid if you invest in a really good project and not just any shitcoin out there.

What is your recommendation for Crypto trading,  Day trading or HODL
Experience in crypto trading big loser or winner

Hodling is real easy and safe, whereas, on the other hand, trading can be quite tricky and risky. If you are new then you should not trade rather you should buy Bitcoin and some good alts and go long on them, it's more safe that way. If you are experienced then it's the other way round.

Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams

Researching is all that can be done to save ourselves from these scam ICOs. We all know that most ICOs out there are scam just trying really hard to rip off our money but still there are so many people who fall into these traps and send off their money to these scammers, all I can say is that researching about the project thoroughly can save people from falling victims to these scammers.

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

Investing and trading can be risky, so I would suggest you to invest that amount of which you can bear the risk to lose it. Don't invest all your savings into cryptocurrencies because it's a really volatile environment here. No one can tell you the ideal number to invest it ultimately depends upon you.

Re: Learning day trading
by

Recently I asked about day trading tips on this forum and got really nice response. Some one introduced me to Voodoo day trading community where I found perfect atmosphere to learn day trading and technical analysis: https://discord.gg/yBmNzRm  I have spent last whole week in the free channel in the group and learnt some interesting tricks and earned a decent amount of money.

Although free channel has helped me immensely so far but it feels like to reach the next level, I have to join paid channel. I wanted to ask that is it worth to pay for learning day trading or I could found free stuff instead? This forum has been a great help to me in past. I hope I will get some valuable feedback this time too.

It's really good that you learnt trading through free channel but it's not a good idea at all to pay for learning a thing which you have already learnt. All you need now is a bit more experience, thats all. Plus, most of the paid channel are just pump and dump group and if you join them then you'll regret it and lose your capital in the process.

Re: Should I continue to invest?

I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?

Almost 95 % of the ICOs fail nowadays, so, there's no point in investing in ICOs, until and unless it's a really good project like Zilliqa, etc. It's better to invest in some good altcoins especially in the current market condition, you will be able to buy the alts at dirt cheap price, so, instead of investing in ICOs, i would suggest you to invest in alts.

Is it safe to import MEW account with Forkdelta and trade?Huh i am new to forkdelta need help and suggestion?? thank you in advance.

No need to import your private key into forkdelta you can just import your ethereum wallet into metamask and you can easily use forkdelta through it, however, metamask extension has been pulled off from chrome so plz be aware before doing anything and giving your private key anywhere.

I always hold my bags even if the prices tend to go down because I know that crypto is the way of the future and I believe that the projects in which I invested in will go up as soon as this downtrend gets over. All we need is patience in this situation.

Re: Do you panic?
by
xsaints128

As I have noticed these days, when the ICO hasnt finished yet and the sale was still on going, the bounty tokens has already been distributed and also unlocked they sell it immediately on forkdelta or etherdelta for a much lower that ICO price, in which it could greatly disturb the sales in tokens. As for you the investor on that token, would you panic when you see that the tokens you own already selling at much lower price?

I've taken part in my fair share of bounty campaigns and i can assure you that there isn't a single bounty campaign out there in which I've taken part where I or any other bounty hunter have received their share of tokens before the Pre-ICO and ICO investor. So, i think that you are gravely mistaken in your statement. I agree with you, as far as the price going down because of the bounty hunters dumping their tokens is concerned.

Everyone has to sell off their investment one time or another. I usually tend to hold my investments for the long term but when i see a huge spike in the price because of a pump, its usually good to sell it off at that time because the price will fall afterwards. Moreover, i sell off my investment when i am in desperate need of money and the rest of the time i hold my bags.

Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies
by
xsaints128
on 27/07/2018, 20:33:54 UTC
I have read several posts on this forum where people have claimed to have invested all the money they have on Bitcoin, I also read a post where a guy claimed to have used all the $20,000 his uncle gave him to also invest in Bitcoin, some even sold their landed property. The reason for these risks and others is the firm believe that Bitcoin would be $50,000 - $100,000 by the year 2019 or thereabout.

First, I must say that I admire the courage and high risk appetite of such persons. But, I must also warn.
Yes, It is good for everyone to have high hopes for Bitcoin, and also hope it gets to 100k USD in future, but you should also consider a safety factor in anything you do including investing.

Mathematically,

DO NOT Assume,
P(Success of future term) = 1 ; and
P(Failure of future term) = 0

This implies that, you must always leave a little fraction for probability of failure which in this case is the safety factor, no matter how little the fraction may be. Simply put, you don't have absolute control of what happens to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in the future.

Invest wisely, only invest what you can afford to loose

Just a piece of advice.

What are your own suggestions?

You are telling the right thing. The cryptocurrency market is quite volatile. No one can predict what's gonna happen next. So it's advisable to only invest that amount which even if you lose you won't regret about it. And no one should ever invest all of his/her savings in any crypto out there because you never know when you will be in a situation where you will be in need of your savings.

Re: Patience is the key

As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks

I couldn't agree with you more. I've experienced many things in the crypto market, I've been investing in some major alts since the beginning of my crypto journey, although I made pretty amount of profits from most of my investments but if only I held my investments a few more months with patience I would have been much richer now but I'm quite happy with what I have and I thank GOD everyday for it.

Re: Which is the best crypto exchange recommended for trading ?
by
xsaints128
on 21/07/2018, 21:20:12 UTC
Hi All,

i've an account with Poloniex as it was easy to get started with it. But i have had technical issues with this exchange and i am planning to expand usage to other exchanges. Can someone recommend few exchanges that meets following criteria ?

- possibility to transfer usd to initiate trading.
- best customer support
- widest range of coins supported
- lowest transaction fees
- user friendly web interface.
- security (should not have had any hacking in the recent years)..

thanks

Bittrex can be your choice, they recently added USD option as well, it meets all of your criteria like wide range of cryptos, secure, user friendly interface, etc., except one of the criteria and that one being one of the most important, i.e., best customer support. Bittrex doesn't have a good customer support, if you get into some kinda problem then you would have to wait a couple of days before it gets resolved. So, if you can work out without direct USD deposit then i would suggest you to use Binance.

Hey guys, do you think It is better to hold main crypto currencies like bitcoin it ether? Or you hold all your money in alt coins?

I like to diversify my portfolio, like, investing 60% of my money in bitcoin and ethereum and the rest in some other good alts. I know if i go all in on alts i can make serious profit but this can also go south and I'd be left holding shitcoins, so its better to play safe rather than being sorry afterwards.
