Re: Two different GPUs in same mining rig?
by

Yes, you can use two different models without trouble.

Run two instances of cgminer, one for each GPU.

Make sure to disable ULPS as I just described here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195550.msg2035320#msg2035320

Thanks! I had no idea about ULPS, so you just saved me many hours of frustration. :-)

Would disabling ULPS make integrated video work when nothing attached? I herd I can mine on the onboard for bout half what my GTX650 does

Why would GUIMiner, that is a GUI front end to CGMiner not work with your cards

If that was the case cgminer wouldn't work xD

How do i post ads?

You can register to coinURL in the example I gave you (https://coinurl.com/index.php). After you have registered your account if you're new to this sort of thing I suggest starting off with URLs. Simply type your URL then get the short version below it and paste it to my blog. You will get a click. A click will determine the amount of pay you receive via coinURL. After you have successfully created your account go to the earn tab, click the word "Clicks" under "link sharing" to view your pay. Lastly, you can have up to ten thousand clicks. Enjoy.

Thank you for an actual explanation sir.

*Tosses a cookie your way*

Site suffers from distinct lack of coin, please fix

What makes Chinacoin better than any other altcoin besides the fact that it is new and cheap?
Thats about it really Smiley plus china will take over the world soon Wink
And they will adopt it because it has china in the name? They will adopt Bitcoin not Chinacoin.

Re: Looking to buy LTC

Would stongly advise against using paypal...
Whats wrong with paypal?

I was actually slightly interested but will probably do LTC to BTC

The basic scam is that the buyer disputes the transaction, and they get their money back and they keep the LTC/BTC.

There are some twists to the scenario (such as the buyer paying as a gift), but either way it can end with someone losing their money.

The topic has been discussed a lot. See if you can find threads with more detail.
Ah thats what I figured, thanks.

Would not suggest for laptops.

My powerful GPU and a bunch of server CPU's barely pulls 160kH/s on LTC

The blockchain is getting really big and it takes like a whole day now to download it. I think the size could become a problem in the future.

I haven't opened it more then a few times in the last few months, has never finished syncing. Boy does it kill my HDD

With how you describe your system, I don't think it would even be profitable or worth your while.
Indeed

A dual core system may do .1 FTC a day though

What coins are you looking to mine?

I did FTC

Felt really pointless, all the pools went down tons. Back on LTC, still slow (Earning over 1FTC a day was cool) but at .1 or so LTC a day I'll stay
