Edit -- I see it is a RAM size issue, 4gb.

error of lolMiner, you try to run a few times, that will probably be. Otherwise wait until the new version supports better

I havent seen any coins announce they are forking. Its pretty stupid to hate a company that saved me a ton of money. I would buy 20 1070s to mine, (I have), why would I not buy one these instead. Less power, space, heat, cost, and various other pluses. People have warehouses full of GPUs. The hate for what Bitmain does, is ridiculous when GPUs are literally doing the same thing. Except they are using more power in some cases. If you think GPU miners arent causing the same issues, then you are naive. GPUs also cost more money per hash, and is also taking away a lot from th gaming industry causing huge disruption and price hikes. If any of you built a computer that mined better then anyone else, ALL of you would use it.

but bitmain will focus power. Although bitmain says it sells a miner for one user, but no one is sure the bitmain does not install the back door into the miner he sells.

I dont mind a few % rejects, its realy a small amount.
The temperatures are the problem, i can get the RX series cards to 70 - 74 degrees, which is not that bad, but the 79xx series just goes 80+ hehe.

Can anyone tell me what the degrees are on 280x cards for istance? Im guessing they overheat to, since its basicly at 7970 repacked.

Regarding those RX, set the core clocks to 1050, thank me tomorrow Smiley

Thanks for the tip, im trying it out.

So far, ETH drops from 24Mh/s to 20MH/s  Tongue

Anyway, im geting bad results on SApphire Nitro+ RX 480 4GB
About 24MH/s ETH + 1.1Gh/s Decred is the best i can do at 1300/2000

Kinda sux, seeing people are geting 28Mh/s ETH on 470's.
Even if i tune down Decred to oblivion, ETH won't go past 24.5Mh/s  Tongue
Noobs shouldn't mine hehe.
you modded bios vga? or default ? thank you!

is anyone dual mining eth/etc/exp + decred with rx 470? could you please tell me your power consumption per card? Thanks

I am mining ETH+DCR. The consumption is between 95W - 101W hashing 28MH/S. I have XFX RX470's.
setup your catalyst ? thank you!
what exactly do you mean with your question? Sorry!
catalyst mean : version driver of AMD , example: 16.12.2; 17.1.1 ; 15.3.2 ;....etc

stock HIS rx480=258H/s
setting: Miner V10, win7 x64, catalyst 16.12.2, -a 0 (algorithm 1)

@Claymore: compute of Nvidia GTX1070=6.5 teraflop/s <=> RX480=5.8 teraflop/s. But GTX1070=430H/s ,only have RX480=258H/s. Claymore try develop Miner ! thank claymore, genius!

Whas is current hashrate for RX 470 cards and R9 380 cards ? Is it more profitable to mine XMR or ZEC with them right now. Price of both coins is currently high at the moment.

Hash on RX 480 - 730H/s

ETH/ETC is more profitable than XMR

your setting ?
core/mem:
window:
catalyst:

i using rx480 only have 635H/s
core/mem: 1288/8000
window: win 7 x64
catalyst: 16.12.2

performance of 390x=rx480. But rx480:240H/s, 390x:400H/s. why? people understand?

 Bad theory.

I have yet to see ANYTHING where the performance of the RX 480 matches the RX 390X - even ETH which is very hard on memory (and is probably the point the RX 480 comes the closest to matching the RX 390X).

ZEC has proven to be a lot less memory-hardened than it's developers appear to have intended it to be - at which point the far superior number of computer cores (abet as somewhat lower clock) of the R9 390x start pulling away from the RX 480.

Keep in mind - the RX 480 is NOT a high end of "Enthusiast" range card like the R9 390x was for IT'S generation.
It is targeted at the high end of "Mainstream" or the BOTTOM end of "Enthusiast" cards for the current generation.
We still haven't seen the high-end *OR* the bottom-end of the "still in the works" CURRENT generation of AMD cards, much less the next-generation Vega to come.
