Re: Mainstream coins or altcoins?

Perhaps I've always been a lone ranger, which sometimes makes me feel lonely. I'd like to connect with cryptocurrency investors from around the world and share our insights and experiences.

There are only two classifications: either Bitcoin or altcoins, as any coin created after Bitcoin is considered an alternative coin. So, I think your question goes like that. Well, I would choose both. Don't limit your investment to just one, as this market is not for Bitcoin only. The reason why this market has grown is because of plenty of altcoins that were created. While most of them turn out to be abandoned projects or scams, there are altcoins that still exist and are already successful. So, it's just a matter of studying a certain project to see its potential in the future. Also, if you want to minimize the risk in investing, you need to diversify your funds, which means you should invest in altcoins alongside Bitcoin.
Thank you for your input, and I greatly appreciate your perspective. In the cryptocurrency market, there are indeed two primary classifications: Bitcoin and altcoins. Given Bitcoin's pioneering status, it has always been in the spotlight. However, the emergence of altcoins has added more dynamism to this market. For me, I tend to lean towards investing in some altcoins rather than just Bitcoin. While many altcoin projects end up being abandoned or scams, there are also several altcoin projects that have shown remarkable promise and achieved success. I believe the key lies in carefully researching and analyzing specific projects to understand their future potential and feasibility.Additionally, the risk management aspect you mentioned is crucial. To mitigate investment risks, I also employ a diversified strategy, which means I invest in some altcoins alongside Bitcoin to balance my investment portfolio. Most importantly, I genuinely wish to connect with cryptocurrency investors from around the world and share our insights and experiences. If you have any suggestions or methods that could help me engage and communicate better with this community, I would greatly appreciate it.
If you are willing to share some insights on how to connect with other cryptocurrency investors, it would be highly valuable. I look forward to building relationships with like-minded individuals and pursuing success together in the world of digital currencies!

Deciding Between Mining and Direct Investment

If I buy 10 units of S19 XP, each with a daily production value of $9.8 and a daily electricity cost of $1.44, considering my electricity cost is $0.02 per kWh, my net income per unit would be $8.33 source: (https://www.f2pool.com/miner?id=155037).
Currently, its price is $3145 source: (https://www.asicfinder.com/frontend/hardwares/bitmain-antminer-s19-xp-141t).
Now, BTC is priced at $29,048, which is quite low, and we are all waiting for the bull market to come.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of numbers and calculations, but I'm determined to make the right choice. Should I pursue mining for a steady source of income, or would it be more beneficial to directly purchase coins with an eye on long-term potential?

Encrypted dumps, now is the perfect time?

When looking to buy a lot of S19 miners and other different types of mining equipment, I found that now seems to be a good time for equipment prices to be lower, especially given the turning point of cryptocurrencies. But finding low-cost devices has become a headache for me.
I used to buy equipment on Bitmain official, www.bitmain.com, but I'm now hoping to buy it at a lower price and am even considering used equipment. I delved into many third-party comparison sites to try to find the best prices and options for me.
I spent a lot of time comparing a lot of third party prices
www.asicfinder.com seems like a good fit for my budget, but I haven't purchased here before and I'm trying to get in touch with their administrators
When looking for equipment, I made it clear that I wanted to find the best value option to ensure that I would get the most return on my investment.
What advice would someone give me, or a better option
And the halving time of LTC is getting closer, how will you deal with it?

Re: Your experience using used miner please?

How long does your used asic miner lasted for? If you are using used mining equipment please drop your results on here, have you ever bought a particular used equipment that lasted for years with no problems at all? For how long actually?

Could you advise someone to buy used Asic miners too? Or newer is safer? Does new or used matter?

Do new asic miner have problems in the short term too?

Buying used ASICs can be a great thing, depending on the opportunities you have. To a large extent, it all depends of the ASIC model and the reseller.

I've bought all kinds of used miners and never had a single problem with them. Some have been running continuously for years, without ever having had the slightest problem.
Some models are less reliable than others, and I personally wouldn't buy some used S17s from some batches, or, for example, I'd never buy a used S9k, because even when they were new, they were complete pieces of shit ASICs.

But the model doesn't tell the whole story: I've bought 90 L3++ used (from a good reseller) and never had any problem, apart from a few PSUs that failed, but that's perfectly normal.
Another time, I bought a dozen L3++ from a random seller on Ebay (a seller located in China), and out of the 10, only 4 kept all their hashboards in a good working order. I had the first problems after 4 days of use, and this went on for 1 year.

For example, the S19pro is excellent and reliable, as are certain Whatsminers. But that doesn't mean I'll buy one of these from a random reseller : choosing your seller is very important.
The reputation of sellers is an important thing to check. Never rush out and buy the cheapest on the internet, it's better to take your time and analyze what you're buying, and who you're buying it from when it comes to used miners.
I agree with you. Buying mining equipment in China on the Alibaba marketplace can be risky, especially if it's your first experience and you don't have a trusted partner to guarantee the equipment's quality. In such cases, it might be wiser to consider buying a new ASIC instead. The price you were offered for the 10 KS0 miners may seem attractive, but there are many factors to consider before making a decision. I would recommend evaluating the cost of new equipment and carefully assessing the condition and usage history of the used ASICs before finalizing your purchase. Good luck with your mining endeavors, including the purchase of new KS1 and KS2 miners from a Chinese used mining equipment platform!   www,asicfinder.com can give you reference prices
