I have the same problem with an Antminer T17+ 64 TH/s.

Minimum the halves of the heat sink have fallen off. The device was in operation for 1 month. Delivery December 2019.

In the first step, the repair center said that it was my fault. I should pay 1599 USD.

But:

- The device was always operated correctly and has no signs of wear on the outside (you can see it).
- We did not overclocked it (Kernel Log).
- The hash boards are not corroded or oxidized (you can see it).
- The device was not exposed to moisture and was sent to the repair center in its original packaging (you can see it).
- We don't immersed the boards in oil or liquid (you can see it).

According to their guarantee information there is no reason to deny the guarantee.

Bitmain needs to replace the device. Otherwise it's fraud.

I will report.

@philipma1957

After 2 emails, I wrote him a two-liner and told him I wanted my money back.

He said that i should forget the emails and they send me the 64 TH device.

The 64TH was shipped one working day later =).

Do not give up.

That bugs me too. 2 boards run at a frequency of 422 and 1 with 522. The latter is clearly 18 degrees hotter and the fans are accordingly much louder. Angry

Hello,

I also had success with my credit from two orders T17 + and T17.

Yesterday i ordered one Antminer S17 Pro-53TH/s - payment USD Wire. Now I had 2 days to make the transfer before the order is canceled.

I contact Bitmain and today they deduct the amount in the user center.

After this i have the choice to pay with USD Wire or Paypal. I must pay 285 ,17 USD =).

It is imperative that USD wire is chosen as the payment method. Only then does the customer service have to react before the order is canceled.

The only way to get the credit according to their support is to pay with PayPal and then contact them with the order ID. They will then manually deduct the amount from the order. I too tried placing an order over a week ago with BTC after they first told me I had a credit and no credit was shown or applied on the order along with no coupon. I contacted their support again and they gave the pay with PayPal and contact them answer others have also received.

So you paid the full amount with paypal and then got a refund over Paypal?

If i have 1400 USD credit and buy one Miner for 1600 USD, they deduct to 200 USD?

The T17 38T costs in the last Bitmain nov. batch $1145. So this is $30 per TH and not $45.

Re: Bitmain to release S17E 64TH
by

Bitmain just released 64 Th at 2200 watts shipped in 3 days after payment. Once again, Bitmain is on a major cash grab. Diff jumps are going vertical. By today's metrics this offering gets you ROI by halvening. But...no way that holds. These will be 16 months minimum ROI. Bitmain is at it again. wait for newbs to go broke, then by their gear. That's what I've done the last three cycles. NEVER buy these hype/cycle peaks. People laughed when I predicted that you could buy S9I 14 th for $200.00. I bought 100's of them from $369.00 down to $225.00. My new prediction....wait and buy S17's for $500.00 new in the box post halvening. You heard it here first. $10,000,00 BTC will be the new $3,000.00 BTC.

I think the same.

But if you want to change your setup i think difficult.

One S17 56T are equal to 4xS9 14T.

In europe you become today maybe $450 for one S9i/j. If BTC price drops to $3.000, you become maybe $50 for one S9i/j.
You lost 4x $400= $1.600, become $200 for four S9 and must buy one S17 in this time for $500.

-  1.600
+ 200
-  500
= -$2.300.

So if you now sell 4 S9´s for $450 you can pay for one S17 max. $2.300.

This math with energy costs, you drive better with one S17.

cryptominerbros list it for $3,199.00, but price will change after relase from Bitmain.

M20s is on sale on whatsminer.net, but only 40 USD under normal price Sad.

In fact Bitmain can´t lower the price than whatsminer.

If tomorrow is a bullish mood, the price is higher than if bitcoin falls extremely low tomorrow.

I cancel my M20s order. Wait for cheap used S17 pro 50/56 TH/s.

Maybe in 2 Months you become 0,5 - 0,7 BTC for this actualy gear price.

Re: Best altcoins for buy now
by

on 30/08/2019, 17:27:31 UTC
In the third quarter of this year the downward trend is very strong and that means buying altcoins is the right time to hold for the long term, but that way buying altcoins when this situation has to be careful not to be careless, because buying just any altcoins will only end at a loss, so it would be better to just buy altcoins that have high potential such as ethereum and altcoins below which have been very popular in the cryptocurrency market.
hi do you have any , feeling which coin it can be worth of buying ??
i saw a lot of good projects with crappy coinprices...

best way is buying coins what can rise 100 his invest .... but which coins are these ones  Huh

maybe $BSHA3

not premined and not listed on many exchanges, hopefully this coin rise.

Three m20s were tested.

One did 69th at 3360 watts
One did 68th at 3350 watts
One did 65th at 3180 watts.

If you use  208, 220, 240 as volts only the 65th passes as at all levels it is under 16 amps.

No one has run or tested or demo’ed the 57th. From innosilicon but they claim multiple power settings so they will be able to be under 15 amps on the low setting.

69th -->3360 watts by 230 volts are 14,60 amps. Why you say only the 65th is under 16 amps?

At the moment many manufacturers are present on the market with new devices.  Maybe they want to get future buyers to wait for this version.

Seems OK.

If BTC price rise, it is good to have one of the best gear.
If BTC price drop, hashrate drop and you can earn more BTC.

I order two M20S-68 and one M20-45 on pangolin, plus become a small coupon.

December is so far away 😭.

Has anybody tested the M20-45 with 8NM Samsung chips? I am very interested in this gear.

Seams is the best choice at the moment. But price is very high and delivery is in December. Maybe I become 0.5 BTC in December for 2000 USD. I have this time the same feeling as in November 2017. Bitmain sells the s9 for high price with delivery in late February.

Is the T3-43 a good choice across the Whatsminer M20-45 (2160 Watt) ?

Can get the T3-43 in August, the Whatsminer M20 in December.
