Hmm, it is interesting to see how it works. In order to accumulate enough $Vesta to get into the Top-50, or to remain among the Top-50 contributors, one must purchase $Vesta from the open market, which, in turn, creates buyers and liquidity takers for the $Vesta market. This formula creates an undeniably strong catalyst for the $Vesta market.
Exactly, and users need to lock Vesta to provide liquidity.

I think it was good idea to do Liquidity Contribution Mechanism. The meaning of his work is that each day, the Vesta team will withdraw 5% of ETH from the UniSwap Pool, and this will be distributed as rewards to the Top-50 contributors to the liquidity pool. At the same time, an equivalent value of $Vesta will also be burned.
Exactly, it encourages users to provide liquidity which is a good thing for the whole ecosystem.

How can I help? Is there a telegram group yet or should I create one? The project looks like what would be helpful with DEXes. You can tell me more. Thank you
Also I look forward to working with you as to help bring people into this so long as we have a headway to providing solutions within the blockchain. Would really love to hear from you.

We already have this type of escrow service represented by bisq, so if you do not provide enough features, you will not find anyone using your service, especially as it requires trust.
There is no difference between 2/3 multisig address or full trust in the third party because they can scam you at any time. Perhaps the damage will be less in the first case.

How will you combine fees, decentralization and multisig addresses? Suppose that a B party sends the money to a multiple address and the two parties (A "reciver" & B "sender" ) agree to release the escrow, how will you receive your money (C)?

Buyers /Sellers pay me after the transcation. I believe in my customers, we won't do business just once.

You don't need to trust the service based on historical records, which don't represent future performance. If you trust the blockchain security of bitcoin/Ethereum, then you really can trust the multisign escrow service, because this is based on open source script/program, and once completed, the transaction is irreversible.
You definitely still need to trust the escrow.

Lets say I'm trading with a malicious third party who is trying to steal all my bitcoin. I send all my bitcoin to the multi-sig escrow address, with one key controlled by me, one key controlled by the malicious third party, and one key controlled by you. The third party sends you a message saying "Why don't we steal all his coins in a 50-50 split?" If you are untrustworthy, then the two of you make that deal and I lose everything. A 2-of-3 set up doesn't remove the need for a trusted escrow.

A user with zero trading history or trust feedback offering escrow services is always a red flag for me.

Yeah, you are right. So may we still need more historical records. Or people should trade in small amount at first time

[Defi] Vesta Protocol - UniSwap Liquidity Solution
by
yarlungzangbo
on 09/08/2020, 07:11:07 UTC
Vesta Protocol

Introduction:
Vesta Protocol is a liquidity passive income generation protocol which aims to improve the ROI for each liquidity maker.
It encourages liquidity makers to increase liquidity via UniSwap by locking their liquidity.

UniSwap Pros & Cons:

Pros:
  • All transactions are conducted on smart contract, so no custodian required.
  • Liquidity providers earn trading fees.
  • 0 listing fees.

Cons:
  • Less than 10% annual ROI for liquidity makers.
  • Some scam projects have appeared.
  • Many projects lack liquidity makers.

Vesta Protocol Liquidity Contribution Mechanism

  • 5% ETH will be withdrawn from UniSwap Pool each day.
  • Corresponding amount of $Vesta will be transferred to 0X000000 (To be updated) and burned.
  • The ETH withdrawn from the UniSwap Pool is distributed to the addresses of the Top-50 liquidity contributors.

External Liquidity Algorithm

An automatic trading algorithm will permanently hold 8% of all $Vesta. This mechanism will work to automatically counteract adverse price swings.

  • When the price becomes too high, $Vesta will be sold to buy ETH (Amount sold per day not to exceed 0.08% of total amount).
  • When the price falls too low, $Vesta will be purchased from the market with ETH.

Expandability

A majority of ERC20 tokens currently trading face liquidity issues caused by low trading volumes. With Ethereum 2.0 on its way, a better liquidity solution
will be required. Vesta Protocol is an experiment that will generate passive income for providing trading liquidity. We can provide this solution to more
ERC20 tokens using a smart contract solution and acting as an valuable administrative liquidity partner.
Requirements for projects to utilize our smart contract for generating passive income from providing liquidity:

  • A minimum of 1,000 token holders (by address).
  • A minimum of 2,200 on-chain transactions.
  • The project team must hold at least 10,000 $Vesta.
  • Accept 3-5% ETH pool liquidity passive income mechanism

Vesta Presale
Vesta Protocol will provide UniSwap initial trading pair liquidity by way of a presale. This presale will be conducted exclusively via the presale address.

Token Issue
$Vesta is proof of community membership. $Vesta is created by Vesta Protocol, which does not belong to any team or individual, with all final decisions resting with the community.

Vesta Distribution Plan
  • 40% Presale
  • 20% UniSwap
  • 8% External Liquidity Algorithm
  • 25% Team (locked, released 0.25%/day)
  • 7% Bounty
Any portion not distributed will be transferred to 0x000000 and the record of such transfer will be made publicly.

Presale Rules
  • The presale will end after 18,000 blocks have been created. - The cap is set at 3,000 ETH
  • The hard cap is set at 3,000 ETH
  • The soft cap is set at 500 ETH
  • Minimum:0.01ETH
  • Maximum:100ETH + 0.1% * ETH presale amount - Once the first 500 ETH worth of $Vesta is sold in the presale, each subsequent 1 ETH contributed in the next 500 ETH receives 1,000 less $Vesta, and so on

Sold Price
------------------------------------------
0 ETH 1 ETH = 50,000 Vesta
500 ETH 1 ETH = 49,000 Vesta
1,000 ETH 1 ETH = 48,000 Vesta
1,500 ETH 1 ETH = 47,000 Vesta
2,000 ETH 1 ETH = 46,000 Vesta
2,500 ETH 1 ETH = 45,000 Vesta
3,000 ETH 1 ETH = 44,000 Vesta

Presale Stage

1. The price is set for the first phase of the presale, with all subsequent stages
using higher and higher prices, thereby rewarding more those who participate
earlier.
2. Presale will start at a predetermined block height.
3. Presale timer will be set to a certain block height and will be adjusted based on the ETH raised in the presale.
4. Presale timer will be set to 18,000 blocks.
5. For every 100 ETH raised, the presale timer will be extended by 2,400 blocks. Once the presale reaches 500 ETH sold, the presale timer will be extended by 2,400 blocks for each additional 500 ETH raised.
6. The presale ends once the countdown timer hits zero.
7. Once the presale has ended, $Vesta and ETH will be distributed based on the token distribution plan (Explained below), and the liquidity will be locked on UniSwap.
8. The first 20% of the presale $Vesta tokens will be distributed at 14,000 blocks after presale, the next 30% will be distributed at 21,600 blocks after presale, and the remaining 50% will be distributed at 28,800 blocks after presale.

UniSwap Price Setting
UNISWAP_Ether = 0.5 x Presale Amount
UNISWAP_Vesta = 0.3 x Presale Amount

ETH Distribution Plan
50% UniSwap
20% Team Expenses
12% Promotions
8% External Liquidity Algorithm
4% Licensing Fees(Team)
6% Exchange Listing Fees

[ANN]Multisign Escrow Service for BTC/ETH/USDT Trading
by
yarlungzangbo
on 08/08/2020, 01:32:12 UTC
Hi guys,

I want to protome my service to every OTC trader.

What is a multisign escrow service, and why would I use one?

Escrow services often act as 3rd party middleman in OTC trading to prevent transaction fraud. But this kind of escrow is based on the trust to the man who provide service. On blockchian we should solve problems by blockchain's way.Multisign escrow is a better way that people trading with large amount, it is using 2/3 multisign, buyers or sellers can't go back on their promises, and the middleman also has a private key of 1/3 signature . Normally, no middleman is required to carry out trust transactions. This is the charm of 2/3 multisign transactions. The role of middleman is only to provide credible transactions.

Why should I trust mutlisign escrow?

You don't need to trust the service based on historical records, which don't represent future performance. If you trust the blockchain security of bitcoin/Ethereum, then you really can trust the multisign escrow service, because this is based on open source script/program, and once completed, the transaction is irreversible.

Escrow Main Features:

-   0.2%fee
-   Fast, one transction will be finished in 1hour
-   Tursted , no one can touch the coins/tokens which is in the multisign address
-   fully decentralized

I hope you will like service and feel free to ask me anything! https://t.me/yarlungzangbo

If I'm not mistaken, they were also in the news a month before that (or Galaxy Digital maybe) about them being the biggest buyer of Ethereums, also about more than half of the total supply mined since 2020. Big guys buying and hoarding not sure I'm comfortable about that.

Those names mentioned as interested in Bitcoin by the way already bought since 2017 and are buying more as this is the dip;)

Anyway they are very helpful for promoting bitcoin to people

A research about Grayscale,Why are they buying so many bitcoins?
by

⭐ Merited by hugeblack (2) ,LokBTC (1)
Recently, many reports are about Grayscale(GBTC), many people says that GBTC bought large amount of bitcoins, it means the fund in wallstreet are interested in Bitcoin now.
As i know, there are some big agencies in wallstreet are really interested in Bitcoin, like a16z, Goldman Sachs, JP morgan ..etc

But why GBTC are buying so many bitcoins? Seems the price of Bitcoin is too high for a new buyer.

This picture was posted on GBTC offical twitter, we can know that GBTC are HODLING about 360K+ Bitcoins now, that is a big number. But something you should know that not every customers are cash deposits.
According to the report GBTC own reports , in the second and third quarters of 2019, more than 70% of private placements were made by customers using their own BTC to replace GBTC shares, and less than 30% of them were cash deposits.
Seems some people are tring to do arbitrage transaction but not hold BTC.How did they do?

We know Genesis Capital have lots of cooperations with Grayscale, and Genesis is doing buisness for crypto lending. The picture shows that the loan amount in Genesis are growing well.

Let me imagine:
Compared with the advantages of holding real bitcoin and the needs of users, GBTC has maintained a large premium. If the agency borrows BTC to participate in the private placement of GBTC in the primary market and waiting for 6month then they sell bitcoin in the market, and then buy BTC to repay the loan, the premium of GBTC share over BTC is the profit part. As we know, compared with the premium of GBTC, the interest of BTC borrowed is much lower. Although there is a six-month waiting time for this operation, as long as is still have premium , that would be a nice return with 0 RISK.

Or, they can buy BTC from spot, get GBTC share from deposit, and open short hedging with futures. After GBTC was unlocked, they sell it to market the close the futures position , that would be a wonderful arbitraged trade.

So i think something are clearly, maybe agencies are more interested in Bitcoin than before, but it doesn't means they want to buy it now. Everyone want to buy at a low price.
We need to chill while lots of reports are rendering the story. Bitcoin will be the most strong assets, but there is a long long way to go

Good luck to every bitcoiner. Smiley

As i know deribit service was transfered to a new datacenter which is LONDON LD4
https://www.equinix.com/locations/europe-colocation/united-kingdom-colocation/london-data-centers/ld4/

That was shocked me,  few crypto exchanges are using physical machine, and the LONDON LD4 is the secure & financial one

If you are trading on Deribit, you can find a super fast way to connect Deribit.
https://www.beeksfinancialcloud.com/partner-deribit/

Use the VPS which is offer by beeksfinancialcloud will make your connect very fast and stable.
If you are doing hedge trading or quantitative trading, it would be your best choice !
