Why would you even consider trading with them anymore?   Huh

Let someone else make the market.

mrb, 3% of an economy is not a drop in the bucket. If it were the global economy the only nations who would have more money would be the United States, the PRC, Japan, Germany, France, the UK, Brazil and Italy. With the UK, Brazil and Italy having each having less than 4%. France at around 4%, Germany <6%, the PRC and Japan <9%, and of course the US with around 23%.

Lower GPU Priority

HD videos that use DXVA (GPU accelleration) are really choppy while mining.

Is there a way to give the miner lowest priority?

I'm sure AMD and nVidia solutions would be appreciated.

I see, thanks.

Do you know why the difficulty is 1? It sounds like that's either the easiest difficulty or the hardest.

Solo mining - Nothing gets accepting - Difficulty 1 hashes 0

Hi, I'm using GUIMiner.

When I use a public pool, my accepted data ticks off pretty steadily, perhaps once or twice a minute.

But when I do solo, nothing ever gets accepted.

I see Difficulty 1 hashes 0, in the bottom left. On the bottom right the MH/s looks good.

In the Summary tab, Accepted and Stale are 0 there as well.

My transaction took like 10 hours today, then suddenly it got about 10 confirmations in a 20 minute window.

IConsider:  when you pay college tuition with a wire transfer, you simply forget about it.  You probably imagine the money went through instantly.  You don't realize it takes days and days, because you don't have to do anything with it once it's transferred.

I've found that wire transfers really are instant. Not talking about ACH.

The only options I see allow you to deposit real money into the system.

What if you wanted to sell your BTC?

Do I need to leave my Bitcoin wallet client running?

If I request a payout from my pool and my wallet is not running, will I be able to receive the transaction when I do start Bitcoin?

BTW, what is it doing while it's running? I notice the blocks keep increasing.

Seems like a big hit when I have less than 2% stales. I wonder what the "other variances" could be...

On My Account page, the "Average speed in last 10 minutes" is like half of what my GUIMiner client is saying.

What is that about?  Huh

PCIe 2.0 x4 slot
by

Hi,

Would this be okay?

(1) 5850 in PCIe 2.0 x16 slot
(1) 5850 in PCIe 2.0 x4 slot

Would the one in the x4 slot hash more slowly?

Thanks
