Re: Major issue with Mtgox unresolved (??)

I just made a withdraw from Mtgox,  I will update when it's in the account.
Mtgox has always been a good business in my eyes,  they have had issues in the past and will have issues in the future but this is expected when you are the first of your kind in a brand new field that nobody else can do better.
People are always bagging out Mtgox but these same people would not know where to begin if they where given the task Magical Tux and team face.

If you are that annoyed at Mtgox for dealing with their bank issues then withdraw your bitcoins through another service if you can find one as good.

hm, are we heading to 100  Shocked

No, no more triple digits for 2013. Or is it 300k$/BTC. I can never remember.

both and add "we'll never see 130, 90 etc, etc" again  Grin

That 300k stuff sent me to imaginative world a bit... ah  Embarrassed

In the spirit of predictions being proven wrong, "We'll not see 250 again in 2013".

Waits...

beautiful naked big titted women dont just fall out of the sky you know
they do when you sold at 90 bought at 66 and are back at 90. oh I forgot originally bought at $0.71

just throw some bitcoins at em and they fall from where ever you want. Smiley

all of the coins that you guys sold have been bought up.  this wall at 80 is holding the price down so bitcoin can be bought at a low price.  look behind the wall and this will give an indercation of the availability of bitcoins.  when that wall is pulled or sold there won't be many coins available.
This is why I haven't sold, I've seen this trick too many times.  I'm also trying to stick to a strategy of trading on medium and long term established trend changes rather than reacting to reversals immediately in panic.  This might cut down my ability to make a huge markup but it seems to cut down even more my tendency to jump the wrong way and make a huge loss, so overall it's working out better (and less stressful) for me.  I might not be a noob any more but I'm well aware that I'm no pro either so I'm slowly evolving a strategy over time that works for me, and having a strategy and sticking with it seems to be more effective than just spontaneously reacting to things as they happen.  Of course though, if I see something that's obviously going to earn me a little in the short term then I'm not going to ignore it, but I'm trying to avoid risky behaviour.

I saw this one coming as it was trending down for a fair while,  I managed to sell in the 90's and I bought up at 66.63 and up.  it's been a good run to increase my total coins.  If it starts to fall again the same thing will be done.  now is the time to make some coin but there's no time to do anything else because you need the finger on the pulse.  it pays well though;)

to some there is nothing other than the USD.  lol

Does it even matter? I'm just showing a trend, the dollar value is (at least somewhat) unrelated.

Bitcoin gains stability when it reaches a point when the world is using it.  these price drops are a really good chance to double your bitcoins or make some big profits.  simple sell when it's about to fall and buy again before it takes off. bitcoin has always done this in the past just on a smaller scale.  this drop is nothing new and bitcoin will exceed the highest price in time as it always does.

it will even out when bitcoin has saturated the world market and is used in regular business.  value drop is due to loss in faith in Mtgox because of the issues with withdraw and deposits.

5 year's ago but coin was worth 2c.  look at how  any times it has doubled in that space of time, this is with a small user base as well. now if you look at all the people who are beginning to see the true value of bitcoin and the amount of people it is safe to say bitcoin will have some strong price hikes.

The mtgox charts look like bitcoin will go up. There's a good demand and not to many sells but this has changed in seconds before.

Re: How our governments are failing us buy not promoting bitcoin
by

You have to be very cautious with China. There was a TV show which talked about bitcoin, no ads, and I'm still waiting for a government official to publicly endorse bitcoin. I'm not sure it would be good if someone does. I don't like the idea of Fincen messing with bitcoin, and I don't want a Chinese government agency doing the same.

Does anyone seriously think the Chinese government can help bitcoin? China has a laissez-faire attitude for now, but if it were to decide that this has to stop, they will act accordingly. China doesn't support democracy, and it's the world's biggest polluter, don't expect anything from that country.

Someone in another thread said they've seen TV ads.
they are running adds promoting bitcoin. The adds would not be on tv in China if the chines government didn't aprove of them.

paper or tv ads?
