Re: Question for faucets:
by
yonghaseo
on 18/03/2018, 00:58:33 UTC
I have some advice for you.

Stop using faucets, they are genuinely a waste of time. Unless you have a script that automatically claims faucet they are not worth the time it takes to generate a few satoshi. That being said, the highest paying and fastest paying faucets are usually associated with dice websites, where part of your referral reward is provided as an increased faucet cap.
He's right. Buy some coins instead of wasting your time in faucets. It's only a little amount of satoshi you can earn everyday. You can also invest in other faucet sites but the interest is very low.

Re: How wars can affect Bitcoin?
by

While commenting on one of threads over here. A really interesting thought popped into my mind. What will happen when there will be coming a huge war?
Even a World War III? Will Bitcoin pump or dump? What role will Bitcoin play? We all know the economy and the currencies are very vulnerable in wars.
I would like to hear some interesting thoughts, even maybe some full detailed articles? Anything would be very welcomed.
I'll say dump. Discussing this enormous phenomena is just between governments to governments. A process of purchasing weapons will always be back to basic, of course using our legal currency mandated by law. The first public action to do is to be secure and sufficiently sustainable. This digital currency maybe stop without specific time given when will be the war ends. On this hypocritical idea seems like it's an ambiguous circumstance to think because I think it will not be possible to happen.

Re: teach your children about bitcoin

hello guys , i just want to share what am i doing right now to my children, i have a 10 year old kid , he is david . this coming summer i want to teach him about cryptocurrency. especially bitcoin, from his young age i want to share him my knowledge about this kind of things. im happy that he is excited a little bit however it's so hard to explain but then i use some examples like video games as a reference about bitcoin. probably it might be the easiet way to understand how this things works. for example bitcoin is like a video games, you need to do a lot of research about bitcoin to know it and ask some people what  they know about bitcoin or  like experiences  , like games you need to do a lot of practice to mastered the games , can someone help me about this ?
Teaching young ones about crypto currency is a good idea of course parents always wants the best for their children. Yes using other tools or I say resources just to make them easily understand, I think it's a genius move. As a parent who teach children how to make them understand what the said topic, you're creating a quality product as early as it is.

Re: Depending your future in bitcoin...
by

on 12/03/2018, 15:50:44 UTC
I think bitcoin is really a good investment for now, but I don't think it is a good idea to put all your investment in bitcoin or crypto currencies since it is unpredictable and very risky to take. For me it's still better to start your own business than depend your future in bitcoin investment.

What do you think guys?
I think I'm not on the page to advise what's your preferred line to engage but what can I say is always weigh options. But in a sense of put up your self in just bitcoin alone as your source of living I think its a big imbalance. Find ways to have a stable job as an assurance of your daily earnings. Use some of your money investing on btc as to be the second source of living. Just maximize your time and resources Everything will be on good outcome coz a short progress is still a progress.

Re: Tax on crypto?

What if the government agree to use crypto as an payment gateway but with tax.

Is it possible?

Everything is possible if both parties will do together and showing good transparency regarding the policies to be mandated . It will easily accepted once both has mutual benefits and ended up with fair policy given. Nothing to be worry if everyone has a role and right to know.

Re: Would cryptocurrency as a real currency be functional?
by
yonghaseo
on 12/03/2018, 13:46:14 UTC
The thing with Bitcoin is that it can be ever changing, so yes it could be functional in any circumstance. Becuase if we did hit the point where we REALLY needed to scale because a good amount of the world wanted to use Bitcoin, I think the miners would be able to do it -- I think they'd go for it too. Bitcoin isn't like anything else, we're able to do some crazy things if we need to -- like the lightning network which I really want to succeed.

So yes, I fully do think it can.
I do agree bitcoin can be functional being use as a real currency. In this digital world that we are currently deal with bitcoin can be a great tool as a mode of payment. Yes Bitcoin isn't like anything else, its flexibility and transactionally very convenient. Just a certain studies and public acceptability can make it posible.

Re: Is it useful to invest my bitcoin to ICO sites?
by
yonghaseo
on 12/03/2018, 02:24:14 UTC
If you plan to invest on ICO, try reading alot about the project, always check if it is not a scam check the team behind it. ICO are profitables however ICO can sometimes scam so becareful on where you will invest. Do reading as a habit, lastly Dont rely on other's suggestion so that you wont regret in the future, your money your decision.
2) These ICOs can give better returns than bitcoins but they are also more riskier. Chances of loosing money there are more and I prefer to go with an investment option that has provide itself for some years.
He's righ,t ICOs can give better returns that bitcoins but there's a big chance that you will lose your money, many ICOs now are scams. So if you're going to invest in ICO make sure to have a review first about their project.

Re: How do you deal with friends/family when they lose their investment?
by
yonghaseo
on 10/03/2018, 20:20:47 UTC
If you tell your friends and family about Bitcoin without giving them any sort of in-depth financial advice and they go ahead and invest, how do you deal with it when the market dips very low and they silently blame you for losing them money.
You have to tell them at first that invest only the money you can afford to lose, because there are so many fluctuations. Don't just tell them that they can earn a big profit when they invest in bitcoin tell them also the disadvantages of investing in bitcoin.

Re: Saving for your Children Bitcoin vs Cash?

Like every parents want to leave something for children for their future.

Which investment is safe?

Bitcoin?
Stocks?
Real Estate?

It's really hard to tell now because we don't know what might happen in the future, like investing in crypto we don't know if after decades if it's still exists. Also in stocks we're not really sure because they can deteriorated in value. But for now, i think the safest long term investment is real estate.

Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few?
by

on 10/03/2018, 13:59:59 UTC
I know that there are many kinds of alternative coins existing today, but is it better to have that many coins instead of having just a few? What are the benefits and harm in having that many alternative coins?
I think it is risky if you have all those alt coins, because when the time comes that all of you altcoins crashed you will lose a big amount of money. Let's say that you have a chance to earn big because you have all of them, if all of your alt went good then you're lucky, but we don't know what might happen in the future. So i think, you must buy only the known alt coins now and just hodl them for a long time.

Re: be careful what you wish for
by
yonghaseo
on 09/03/2018, 00:33:41 UTC
Why does it look like most people wish for Bitcoin to crash?  Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

they wish for it to be at a discount when they get paid their wage to buy in cheap.. then they wish for it to jump in price the very same week to cash back out because they owe rent and need groceries..

then they repeat the same thing over and over again
remember for every bunch of people wanting a discount day(drop), theres also people wanting profit day(rise)

it will be the same every time. and forever. for every buyer there is a seller.. its how trade works

first lesson to learn. take emotion out of it.
when the price drops. dont cry saying you cant make profit, instead think of it as a discount day and a god time to buy more cheap
when the price rises. dont cry its too expense to buy in, instead think of it as a profit day and a good time to sell some to have spare cash to get in more at the next discount.. just never sell at a loss

He's right. They wish for it to buy bitcoins at low price and sell it when the price rises back. You don't have to worry about that, if you're afraid that you bought it a high price and you might lose profit, you can buy again some bitcoins when it's still at low price if you have an extra money. So when the price of bitcoins increased 2-3x. You will gain a big profit.

Guys what do you think about Homeless people who use cryptocurrency on the street is that an evolution or something else ?

But i don't think begging for bitcoins is not the only way they will have to do in their whole life. I mean they will have to work also to make bitcoins. They should earn money so that they can buy mobile devices so they can access to internet and earn more bitcoins like what we are doing right now. It can change their lives for better and have a good future.

Re: Working for Bitcoin
by
yonghaseo
on 08/03/2018, 23:57:01 UTC
As a student, it's hard to find a work that involves bitcoins. I'm in school 8-9 hours and when I go home, I would like a long rest. That is why, signature campaigns really gives me not much but enough to support my allowances every month.
When I have my free time. I find sites that are finding freelancers. Those who are needing not a too much technical writers or even story writers only. I earn few bitcoins there.
Sometimes, do some errands that my fellow bitcoiners want like, turn papers, then I get bitcoins in return or payment.
Same here. I'm also a student and i'm also participating in signature campaigns, bounties and other way of earning bitcoin for my school fees. I'm also trying to apply for a part time job but i don't have enough time, and i can't rest properly. So i choose to work in bitcoin because it's a lot more easier, and i can manage my time for my studies.

Re: BTC news
by

Where do you get your news about BTC? I am looking for a relevant and credible source of news, e.g. like cointelegraph.com (which I favor), but would like to have other opinions.
I will suggest CCN.LA, their news is all about crypto and they are always updated and have the latest news about crypto currency, they notify me the important news through email and i don't have to visit their site. But you can also look through google.

Well, probably the most news worthy is reddit, but you can google search and find numerous amounts of btc news sites.
Coindesk is another good one but it all depends on what exactly you're looking for.
Reddit is also good.

Re: How can one invest in Bitcoins?
by
yonghaseo
on 08/03/2018, 19:59:00 UTC
Investing in bitcoin as a newbie is actually pretty easy. You just need to open up a coinbase wallet , or some other type of cryptocurrency based wallet.

He's right. Look for a trusted wallet and those who had a good rating, and investing using your wallet is lot more easier. Coinbase is a trusted wallet but in other countries buying and selling crypto is disabled.
