Today I discovered that my wallet does not display the fresh coins that I bought on the exchange and sent to it (although the balance is reflected correctly in the explorer). I began to investigate this problem and was surprised to find that a new version 2.0.3 client was released in November, and I use version 1.0.0.0 (although I installed it in October). When I downloaded the new wallet and tried to replace the file wallet.dat with my old one, the new wallet did not start and reported that my file was corrupt! How can it be?! I have not seen anywhere on the forum announcements about the fork, the coin swap, the mandatory update, or even the replacement of the ticker! Why is this so ?! How can I launch my new wallet and not lose all my coins?
Fortunately, I solved my problem by importing a private key, so the question is canceled. But I still do not understand why there are no messages and announcements about this on the Bitcointalk forum.
I am happy you found the solution. I have been watching this project since 2017. They have overcome so many problems and fought the whole way. Other projects have ICO and failed. This one did not even ICO and still fights to succeed. The team probably could improve on things, but given hardships and difficulties of a bear market, they have done really well with actually coming up with a real purpose for the coin. I would like to see CSTL have more purpose but excited about what Axioms is doing and I want Axiom token so I will accumulate as much CSTL is possible. It's a good sign to see them in a paperstreet vote!

I stick to projects that are of value regardless of price trends. Especially marketing projects. They tend to do well bull or bear.
Right now, I don't have any dream to launch my coin because I know that it will need many things to set up and I need to spend a time to research and make the teams work in that project. Besides that, I need to know what purposes I will need to launch the project, and I will check on the market trend because I don't want to create the ICO project based on the ethereum and I see that the trend of that project is done and it will change with something new. Perhaps, if I can collect much money and I have a team, I will launch the project later, but it depends on what is going on in the market.
Wouldn't it be best to focus on what you want to do before the idea of raising money though?
How would your project look like? Which problems would be solved? How would you call it and which abbrevation? (like Bitcoin (BTC))
Would you do a big Bounty and Airdrop to make your project famous?
I'm curious about your plans of creating a new ICO project and your own coin.
There's a project called Castle that does both those things of making a coin and massive airdrops. They built https://cryptoincubator.io and https://axioms.app (supposedly the first decentralized airdrop platform? not sure if that's true or not but it does look pretty slick)- I just wouldn't over complicate all those questions without using some of the many of resources out there available to help that don't charge an arm and a leg.
DYOR of course (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/castle if you want to look up this one project but I'm sure there are others too). It's not necessarily difficult to get a coin project going with the right research and, of course, right team. But I think even more important, if you make a coin or ICO you need a purpose that is unique.

If the coin has a real use case and product or platform, yes! if not, stay away.
Coins with the coin itself having purpose or function are great. I like finding ridiculously low marketcap coins that are having great community growth and supposedly new tech releases coming out like CSTL or XTL. It's the hidden coins that are hard to find that can really yield the best profit results.
CSTL has a wide spread and an illiquid market. Easy to trade/flip for profit while building up a supply. Masternodes and an airdrop platform are being released.
XTL is just a crazy low satoshi coin that you can put in a low bid order in and then flip.
Both are great, can do right now for profit, kind of coins.
Airdrops are good free money but not all are worth to join and to hold. I find day trading as a bad habit of trading in my experience but I know there are traders there are that earning more than enough. [/qu The best way of making profit is through investment or trading on crypto-currency, and make profit from it by buying a high quantity of favorite token and resell in a short period of time and make profit.
Ah. Yes. I mean, that's true about many airdrops. However, I'm not talking about the airdrops. I'm talking about the coin that is offering the airdrops. Airdrops seem to be getting trendier and may be "the next big" thing everyone wants. So why not try to ride the wave of one of the platforms you can actually buy into?
Beside, i know that airdrop is good way to gain profit. What do you think DeepOnion airdrop? It seems that they got a very good community.
Airdrops are always been good. The deeponion receives a lot of criticism in this forum so I think we need to stay away from this. But their coin is really soaring high. We can't deny the growth of the community.
I can't decide on it. Is it just quantity over all else on deeponion?

Very true! I just also see airdrops as being very trendy. So instead of the focus on the airdrop, I'm thinking one can buy into the platform (ie: castle) and then while everyone else chases for free coins, you make money on them buying castle. It's such a low marketcap right now that it should be an easy trade. Most platforms are just quantity drop drop drop. This one is pre-release unique.

Thanks for your answers.. All there coins seems pretty unknown.. Will they survive the long term?
I like to look at growth of a community, price movement in bear markets, active development, etc. You can see a coin's future pretty well if there is a lot of growth. Out of those projects listed, the only one with a clear, stable growth rate is Castle.

Re: Headless stake box mini server. How much to invest?
I would like to create a mini server (like a Raspberry) to use it as Stake Box, profiting from buying in the current dip. I would like to keep some (3-4) different coins on it.
Which ones do you think will be the best for the long term? And how much money do you think is necessary to invest to have a decent outcome (I was thinking about 10 ETH of value) ?
Not sure if compatible with Raspberry staking solutions, but you can look at the following coins:
I heard Castle is going to have some new masternode feature according to their discord channel https://discord.gg/5gvbqpC so that could be really good for a server to host.

Re: 💦[RAIN]💦X11💦ONLY DL FROM GITHUB!💦20,000,000 COINS BURNED!💦condensate.co💦
rain is still doing good for me earning stake everyday so i am happy here. i have a question when is dev going to release the whitepaper? he say this last month but still nothing about whitepaper now. Maybe he post on slack so can someone post here if dev still working on this project.
It's a broken coin being fixed. If you went from 20% a day to .1% a day, you risk destroying the community. Important to do stages of step down. Plan seems to be to move to a new wallet, then burn everything not moved after November 1st (someone confirm this date for me). THEN one can see what is left and figure out appropriate numbers.
