Re: RAWX altcoin exchange (former mcxNOW) to reopen soon

Why did it close down before?  Roll Eyes

The support system hat to be extended. The exchange grew too fast and it was not possible to provide adequate support for that number of users anymore.

RealSolid also never trusted anyone. Which is why it wasn't so simple to just onboard staff. He was doing all the support and development and I think it drove him crazy.

Can't really understand why people think he's a scammer.

I traded on mcxNOW for a while, bought and sold FEEs along with every other coin on the exchange.

When I got the email that I had a month or so to withdraw, that's what I did and I made off clean.

The site and my account were never compromised. It was literally the fastest exchange I've ever traded on.

Coming from a trader's point of view, I think everyone calling RS a "scammer" seem to have bought high and ended up holding the bag.

What I got from the "FEEs are a scam" debate is: You bought FEEs late, the site closing announcement was made and the price tanked.

However, RS is still on IRC, willing to buy your FEEs back from you, but all you can do is cry.

QQ/GG.

Is it possible to run the wallet on OS X or a linux server?

If so, I might be able to get some interesting things going.

Can I get a collection of strategies? Something that just uses some form of EMA and only needs BTC in the wallet to start?

Anyone has problem syncing?  I tried twice (deleting the blockchain DB in between) and both time it sync up to block 50623.  Then, I left it for 24+ hours and no more blocks get sync.

Client v0.10.0.0-beta

Re: [ANN] RazorLove Cryptocurrency Services - DBL, CENT, & FOO/BAR Updates

Pennies v0.10.2.0-abe will be uploaded here shortly: Google Drive

Changes:
-Fixed issue where old blocks where invalidated by stake changes
-Checkpoints to get everyone back on the same fork (synced with Cryptsy up to block 250000, hopefully)
-New stake values are significantly reduced (as was intended via the previous update)
-Small cleanup of superfluous files (folder: qt-copy)

Notes:
-You may have to remove your current blockchain from your appdata and resync from scratch
-You will likely end up with a lot of dead transactions from a bad fork
-You may still have a few lost transaction between you and cryptsy, you will have to talk with them about it, i can't help you.
-There's two more, noticeably large, Qt*.dll files included in the wallet. I have no idea why but the latest build requires them. We'll figure this out soon.

Any OSX build in sight? I tried to build from source but failed. The latest OSX 10.9 Mavericks.

Also, any future plans for the coin? Is there a BTC pairing anywhere in sight on another exchange besides Bter?

Guys you will have to wait until the wallet is synced, sometimes the bar disappears then reappears when discovering new blocks. Just wait all the clients work perfectly even on mac and linux.

Yeah, it usually takes a bit for me, but eventually it finishes syncing without issue.

u can mine directly into your exchange balance  Cheesy

Is there anything wrong with the GLD blockchain right now? My miner doesn't seem to make much hash when I point it to GLD either.

@Burnin

Do you envision having your own gross of chips where so you can simply sell a completed unit directly?

I asked this through email and he said no.

Are you sure you know what you're doing? As in, if we choose option 1, are we going to be able to just plug it in and start mining?

I PMed him a little bit, this is what he said:

All your questions are in my organized notes and data in pdf. Many times I have ordered parts from radio shack even. Some parts are cents some are under $10, first prototype was not pretty due to trial and errors. You will need EE software to test design as well as ohm meter, micro solder kit, ect. Software wise gotta be decent at linux redhat . I did keep notes as I went along for my future replications, never thought I would share it one day. Please post in the forum due to many emails asking same questions, It would streamline information.

What do you expect your hashrate to be with these cards? Don't you think that was a waste with ASICs on the horizon?
