Re: bitcoin vs. real money???

Bitcoin or Real Money
Recently, a survey was conducted among ordinary US citizens. It turned out that according to the degree of preference, banknotes lose to debit cards by only 6 percent. In the polls that took place in May and June, 1 thousand Americans participated. Of these, 27 percent preferred cash. The most popular debit cards - 33%. The situation with virtual currencies is quite good. They satisfy 15 percent of respondents.
For the time being, there are means of payment in circulation that are irretrievably obsolete. They are to taste only 3 percent of respondents. These include checks.Similar studies have been conducted in Asian countries. And here it was confirmed that paper money is still the leading way of making settlements.
Bitcoin vs real money? As of know money will win because of us around the worl are using money to but the things that we want to buy, and bitcoin is there is chance that bitcoin will change a money when you withdraw it on cebuana or any kind of withdrawal.

at present, bitcoin is becoming known to people around the world, especially in developing countries. the majority of bitcoin is introduced through news on television and on the internet. Therefore people are starting to want to know what bitcoin is and if it appeals to them, they will invest instead?
Well the government should not be silent on bitcoin, they think bitcoin is disrupting economic stability and there will be inflation in the country.
Do you think that bitcoin will disrupt economic stability and there will be inflation due to bitcoin in a country?
There is lot of countries that developed bitcoin and in the other conutry they are selling in the market using bitcoin. Maybe other people that do not an internet do not dveloped the bitcoin.

I think Bitcoin is helpful to the economy because it helps the people, may they be employed or unemployed. It helps the people to be productive especially on their vacant times or when they are not working. Bitcoin is getting a lot if attention in many countriesnow because it really helps the people.
Bitcoin is very helpful to the economy because it helps people that do not have a job, bitcoin helps a lot people that they can have a job to get an extra income and for them to get a money in a easy way. They don't need to have that was so hard, because bitcoin is the easy way to jave a job and earn a lot money, but only you need is patience.

Re: The best way to invest
by

What's the best way to invest? Wall St won't tell you the secret, but here it is: don't. Find a good money market fund as your base, and clip coupons by building a high quality relatively short duration bond ladder. It's essentially risk free, and it has beaten the market for over a decade now. Sleep well, save well, focus on your career, and enjoy your life -- and though you may not believe me, I guarantee you'll beat 95% of all investors in the long run, and you won't have to pay any "advisors" a nickel.
The best way to invest for me is to invest when the comes down and sell when its high price. And also in trading is the best way to invest.

Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin
by
yvonnegalvan
on 30/04/2018, 16:21:07 UTC
Hello everyone, I want to share about my strategy with bitcoin and I need your advice.
So the example is, I've buy bitcoin in price $2000/btc with amount $750 so I have 0.375 btc. When the price climb to $4100/btc, I sell my 0.184 btc to get my first capital and get $754.4 and 0.191 btc left .then when the price dump again to around $3900, I buy it again with my $754.4, so I get 0.193xxx btc and  my total btc is 0.384xx. With my $750 I can keep increase my bitcoin with this strategy. So what do you think. Am I doing right with my bitcoin? Or you have any advice. Please explain.
You are doing great with youre strategy so keep doing that until you  can earn a money, that was called trading and you are doing a great job for that . Me but bitcoin in a low price and when the price high i sell it.

Re: Why people are still buying BTC?
by
yvonnegalvan
on 30/04/2018, 16:15:16 UTC
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.
I think people are still buying a byc because they wanted that if the btc price will become high it will have a chance for them to earn alot of ptofits, and they will just buy a btc when it decreases the price, then they will sell it with a hugh price so that they can earn a profit.

Lots of people's use bitcoin as a investment factor. This cause to maximize the capital of Bitcoin. But how long Bitcoin will survive in this industry ? Because lot's of government try to manipulate and control the crypto currency industry via introducing new regulation. As a country some one can do vast harm to bitcoin. We saw some of in past. If Bitcoin fail in this industry it will be a biggest financial crisis in this century.
Bitcoin will survive as long as there is an internet, and also currency will survie forever when internet die and bitcoin is no other belongs to world. Because Bitcoin is a high votallitay currency I've ever known.

Re: Will bitcoin destroy the world?
by
yvonnegalvan
on 30/04/2018, 16:03:47 UTC

Bitcoin mining is based on very high energy costs and environmental costs.

One bitcoin =20 barrels of oil.

How many barrels of oil do you think the industry consumes every year?

10 barrels? 50 barrel?

Each year, the mining industry consumes more than 24 terawatts of energy, the equivalent of 13,239,916 barrels of oil.

Every 10 minutes, 12.5 bitcoins are dug up, meaning 20 barrels of crude oil have been reached since each bitcoin was dug up (not yet traded).

In other words, the amount of energy consumed by the global bitcoin mining campaign is 40 times greater than the amount of energy needed to support the Visa card network.

One bitcoin transaction = one American family USES electricity a week.

According to encrypt the currency analyst Alex DE Vries estimate an index, the currency trading energy consumed each year more than 24 tw, this is equivalent to total energy consumed each year in Nigeria, which has a population of 186 million.

Currently, about 300,000 bitcoins are traded each day. Each bitcoin transaction costs 215 kilowatt-hours of energy.

The average American household USES about 901 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month, which means that each bitcoin exchange consumes enough energy to make an American family comfortable for a week.

What do you think about the energy consumption of bitcoin?
Actually bitcoin won't give us a reason to destroy the world, we are just using bitcoin for our life to have a better future fo our family, we are just using bitcoin to have a good business, we are using bitcoin to have an extra income for our daily needs. So that bitcoin won't destroy the world, is was so hard to know that bitcoin will destroy thr world.

Re: Bitcoin is better than gold
by
yvonnegalvan
on 30/04/2018, 15:51:01 UTC
From an investment point of view, bitcoin is more about gold than it is about other currencies. That's because as an asset, bitcoin and gold have a lot in common. Both are limited to supply, both have functions to use, and many believe that, despite their large price fluctuations, they remain a good store of value. Compared to gold and currency investment returns in the past five years, the currency's performance is far better than the so-called precious metals, gold year loss than 6%, the currency of the annualized rate of return is 155%. These rich returns show that bitcoin has excited investors about the prospect of putting money into such a new asset class.

Compared with the gold standard, the value of the currency rising and proven performance, investors can be used to measure the investment of the world's leading digital currency future opportunity and risk indicators.
I dont think so that bitcoin is better than gold, because I know that gold was stable on its price also as of now there is a lot people that is using gold. And many people said that bitcoin is better than gold because they change their life because of bitcoin and bitcoin is there have a chance to high a price for them to have a lot profit. So that i think there is a lit of people that is knowing that bitcoin is better than gold.

Re: great believers that bitcoin will survive?!
by
yvonnegalvan
on 16/04/2018, 16:34:11 UTC
im one of those believers that bitcoin will survive, the price and value of bitcoin will increase as time goes buy, even if today the price is too low and not stable, the speculation of others it will pump up in the middle of the year just like last 2017 bitcoin hit the value 1M.. so its possible to hit another 1M or maybe double the price, just stay calm and believe in bitcoin..
I believe that bitcoin will really survive, because even if the bitcoin is in the low price, you should say or you should believe to yourself that the bitcoin price will increase someday. Nothing is impossible you just need to patience and believe on what you wanted.

Re: I stop looking at Bitcoin Price

on 10/04/2018, 02:50:40 UTC
I just stop looking at bitcoin price. It hurts me actually, that's why I took this decision. I am holding few of BTC and I will not look at my wallets too for 2 months. I hope after 2 months when I will go to see bitcoin price, maybe I will scream happily. What about you guys?  Grin
Don't stop looking at your bitcoin price because even if the price is in low price it was just okay, just see it but don't sell it, because if you sell it you can't earn a lot of profi5, so that don't stop seeing the bitcoin price because ones that the price increases you can sell it then you can have a lot of profit.

Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable?
by
yvonnegalvan
on 09/04/2018, 16:01:37 UTC
I am pretty much interested to know how many people here uses bitcoin because of it's system, because of the anonymous and the security it provides, and because of the fact that it is really easy to transact over the internet, and there's no one who can just block your account(unlike paypal, a platform that provides an easy way to pay over the internet, but you rely on PayPal to keep your account open).

So, are you guys using bitcoin because of it's nature, or because it's a financial tool of making money?

Yes of course, its not depends on the price, even if the price is still in the stable price, i will still use bitcoin, because for me is the only way to fullfill my future.

Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ?
by
yvonnegalvan
on 09/04/2018, 15:56:52 UTC
Hi guys , I  read in social media that many people are panicking its because bitcoin dropped every hour and they think they might lose their money because of that .Well for me , there's no need to panic because when bitcoin dropped as its lowest price its a blessing . And also joining in CRYPTO CURRENCY WORLD, you already know what risk you  should face , and  its a win and win bet when you hold bitcoin . So knowing that  some people selling their bitcoin I feel so sorry for them.
Well, you don't have be panic when the bitcoin comes on the lowest price. Selling is a stupid decision, when you sell it in low price, because you don't have a patience to wait, but it's up to you if you sell it in low price, maybe you need a money on that day so you want to sell it in a low price.
