But crypto/mining is unregulated over the world so we can't do anything, there is no laws for cartels.

Code is the law. Fork the coins and make the vendors lose money and they'll stay away from those coins. Or learn to live with ASICs, like BTC and LTC have done reasonably well, kinda-sorta.

They do NOT lose money.  They already ROI n times now.

Hello.
Does anybody have Sapphire rx 550 4gb? What is the hashrate with 11.3 version on ETH?
Do your cards find more shares now with increased hashrate on 11.3 version?

I got Saphhire RX550 2GB, mining MUSICOIN with v11.3, speed increase from 11.xMH/s to 13.7MH/s.
Shares increase a bit, not very much.

why not add Electroneum pool?

ETN Nethash is very big and the pool would only find blocks after a few days, most of my miners switch between pools and need pools with 1 hours block time, preferably.

oh, good idea!  I always want to do this but most other pool operator are against about this!

MPH should add some more coins for user to mine with, esp. cryptonight algo.
Like ETN, no need to have auto exchange feature.

Is there any tutorial to know with tester, how much energy required and how much the motherboard can give?

I use 1070ti at 60TDP, maybe no need of powered riser.

I use powered riser even with RX550 (50W TDP).

anybody work with rx550 ddr5 4gb? working smoothly with rx580. but running rx550 hang on start claymore

I use sgminer 5.5.5-gm, 3x RX550 2GB, total 960H/s, no devfee.

stock setting without overclock / undervolt.

let me know what coin you minner with sgminer-gm?
i already using sgminer 5.5.5-gm to mining eth. its seem running slowly then claymore.

in sgm speed 7mh but claymore 10mh. but claymore hang on my rig Sad

this thread is talking about cryptonight, and I am talking about mining cryptonight algo.
The coin I mine now is ETN (Electroneum), not ETH.

If you are using RX550, I suggest you try sgminer 5.5.5-gm, mining Electroneum,
or mine with NiceHack if you still trust NiceHack.
Try to tune to over 300H/s per card.

The following is the screenshot, GPU0 is onboard VGA being disabled, and GPU1-3 are RX550 2GB Saphhire pulse.
GPU 1 is 640 SP, so use 350.
GPU 2,3 are 512 SP, so use 280.
Each GPU config 2 threads.

If you are using 4GB version, I think you will not get much advantage over the 2GB version, not even more than 5% I think.

I have a RX550 Rig with 6 Cards and use Claymore 9.7 and the hole System runs with 1875 H/s. Just use stock clockings and use -h 512 and each card runs over 300 H/s.

After some tuning, the 640SP card can do 360H/s.
I may buy 3 more (640SP) cards later on, just 72$ each.

Hope that I can ROI within 45 days.

Just tried your miner with 2x Sapphire RX550 2G Pulse, stock settings.

Here goes the result:

Code:
Hash Rates: GPU1 318H/s. GPU2 318H/s.
Current Overall Hashrate of 636H/s.

Record: 652 H/s.
Runtime: 2 Minutes and 47 Seconds.

But the hashrate is the same as SGMiner-GM 5.5.5, which do not include a devfee and it is open-source.

Code:
GPU 1:  69.0C 1729RPM |  313.2/ 338.5h/s | R:  0.0% HW:0 WU:0.000/m rI:280
GPU 2:  67.0C 1224RPM |  313.4/ 338.5h/s | R:  0.0% HW:0 WU:4.730/m rI:280
(ambient temperature 22C)

P.S. Wolf0 is around here and I think he is angry if someone use his code and set a devfee.

best case scenario, your funds will be back in a few days or weeks, worst case, never

DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO HITBTC

This exchange is going to exit scam very soon and that will make Mtgox looks like a joke
hitbtc is also under investigation by a huge number of law enforcement agencies who will shut them down one day or another

It is the shadiest exchanges i know to date

- Fake company name
- no corporate registration / totally of the grid
- no offices
- whois hidden by panama based whoisguard
- huge ressources invested by hitbtc into eluding investigators researching the company, with complex network of fake entities, company name usurpations, fake people, etc..
- almost non existent support with fake names
- faked volume by a huge extent / bot generated markets
- too cheap miner fees which results in transfers stuck in limbo for days (for the lucky one who actually get some money out of it)

Their business model is selective scamming; they let a number of payments go through based on a automated selection made by algoritm and withhold others either for days, weeks, months or forever. They let some payments go through to create confusion among people and keep their scammy business going, but also to elude "withdrawal tests" made with small amounts, to draw larger sums into their exchange

They make tons of money with this scam

exactly same experience as you describe.
I just loss few dollars in dec17 and will leave hitbtc forever!

With bitcoin gold going to equihash, I'd hope that we add the other equihash coins to compliment zcash mining since lately zencash has een flip flopping between most profitable against ethereum for me.  I know this was in a to do list for the owner, but perhaps we can get this moved up a bit.

Actually I don't like to open pool for bitcoin gold because of its too big storage usage and lack of source maturity
They did not even launch working wallet yet.
