I think the OP is well-meaning, overall I appreciate what the OP wants to try to convey.

However, just like some of the opinions above, I also agree that "This topic has really nothing about bitcoin at all". I think this topic is better moved to the Politics & Society board.

I think all this is not excessive, everyone is starting to have prejudice against China.

China will do anything to save their faces. Oh no, I was reminded of a video of a young man from Wuhan who revealed how bad the China government was in handling the situation when the virus began to spread.

The problem is that people aren't taking the precautionary measures seriously. People are still going out even though they aren't allowed because of the risk of contracting and spreading the virus. If government are less lenient to people like this and rule as an embodiment of law then they might discipline this people.

Yes, you are right, many people still underestimate all of this.
I think warning is not enough to convince and discipline such people, there must be firm action to bring society into discipline.
Martial law? Or maybe what they are doing in India?
https://www.dw.com/en/india-police-under-fire-for-using-violence-to-enforce-coronavirus-lockdown/a-52946717
You see them walking around town? Beat them with a stick! What if they're going to a pharmacy, or need to get food for a small child? Doesn't matter, beat them with a stick! No walking around! Cheesy

I think you are too extreme to interpret "discipline". Also, it's not about people who go out to meet their needs, but, it's about some people who are still doing crowding activities. Sounds strange indeed, but, in some countries that still have a low rate of infection cases, some people still do crowding activities such as wedding party etc. (at least, that's what happened in my town).

~ snip ~

That’s lame if you judge it based on stock market paper market value, why not calling bitcoin the most valuable since it’s once crossing trillions dollar benchmark in term of market cap.

Yes, to be honest that is lousy, I am hesitant to say that BTC is the most valuable "commodity", even though I believe that BTC is (supposedly) the most valuable.

But, we return to the fact that BTC has not yet reached the entire world community. Besides, the world community generally considers the "stability" as a benchmark for determining the value of a commodity. Besides that the general public still has superficial thoughts about BTC even though BTC "it’s once crossing trillions dollar benchmark in term of market cap" as you said.

Yes the government is distributing food for the poor , they are doing whatever they can , but it is not enough .

Well ... I think in the end the government can not do anything. Food needs assistance only lasts 3-5 days, in the end, the poor people can only hope and depend on themselves, the government cannot be relied on.

Yes, I think you are right!
A century ago, gold and oil were the most expensive resources, but now the internet has shifted the two commodities as the most expensive commodity.

If I'm not mistaken, I've read an article that says "The companies like Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Microsoft are the most valuable companies in the world".

<~snip~>

globalists are communists and therefore not evil, they simply seek capital and funds for infrastructure.

nazis, islamists and racists are dangerous as they cause divisions.

<~snip~>

they don't love her, they only want to use her for their goals. giving children to more hatefilled islamists/nazis/racists,

african and muslim women need to liberate themselves from their abusive husbands.

This kind of statement will actually cause division.

You can't say one group is very dangerous, bad, and blah blah blah just because you see an individual from a certain group doing bad things.

By the way, is your theory based on facts? Where do you see the ugliness of the group you mentioned? Don't say you make this judgment because you saw it on TV.  Roll Eyes

Good for you OP because of 10 months ago, the market started to reverse from a bear market to a bull market. Perhaps it's not your algorithm or whatever else. It's simply because you went in at the right moment. Try to do that in a bear market and still yielding positive returns, and I will worship you.

Boom! I like your statement, mate. I agree with you!

Anyone, with a little knowledge will successfully trade when the market is in a positive trend (though not always like that), but not if it's the otherwise, it's hard to get a return when the market is in a negative trend.

@OP, congratulations! Congratulations on the return you get! However, I think "returns on the bear market" theory will be more interesting.

CORONA VIRUS IMPACT ON DIFFERENT CRYPTO MARKETS

BITCOIN

As the virus spread, the BTC price grew sharply, reaching $9,439 on January 28, 2019. And always know the effect on the change of Bitcoin always followed by the different crypto markets like Ethereum, bitcoin, BTCH, etc The Question Remain to the community will the CORONA VIRUS  favor Crypto Market.

MORE check on::    https://bizzysumbi.blogspot.com/

I suppose there is no direct correlation between the NCoV outbreak and its effects to crypto markets, not unless a formal study is conducted systematically.

Now I'm inclined to believe that BTC and other crypto fundamentals are getting good that retail investors are now becoming more confident with crypto investing. I hope I'm right with that assumption. Smiley

I agree with you! The price increase in the current crypto market tends to be driven by Halving, as mentioned by @fiulpro above.

Coronavirus outbreaks should not be a factor in rising prices on the crypto market, because if so, (maybe) someone would expect another virus outbreak to occur.

Re: The biggest challenge facing Bitcoin (and all cryptocurrency) this year
by
zabizana
on 28/01/2020, 14:31:16 UTC
What concerns me though, is that as we stand on the edge of global acceptance of cryptocurrencies we risk the definition of cryptocurrency being violated by the corporate or government sponsorship needed to drive that global acceptance.

Unfortunately, no matter how you try to twist words if it will ever be released Libra will be a cryptocurrency and we're going to have to live with it. But, do you think a government would play around with words if it wants to drive up acceptance and not with laws? A government (of course in some countries it would be the parliament) could simply impose its currency with a law and that's it, the crypto dollar or the e-euro are official currency and legal tender and everything else.

When the world is offered with convenience, they will forget about BTC for they will get used to what is offered by Libra.

Sad but true, people will not care about decentralization if the transactions are faster and cheaper and if you forget your private key you have someone to call and recover your wallet.

You see Bitcoin doesn't care if the politicians approve it, therefore is more valuable.

I've seen how much value and faith was put in it when single fake news about a government banning it made it lose half of its value.
What do you think the price would be tomorrow if the US congress outlaws cryptocurrency trade, mining, and ownership?

Does that mean the existence of coins like Libra will disturb the existence of (decentralized) cryptocurrency? In other words, whether the existence of a coin like Libra will make cryptocurrency holders will mutate from (decentralized) cryptocurrency to a centralized digital currency?

Re: Altcoins Bounty Hunters are almost alone!
by

on 26/01/2020, 13:58:54 UTC
Bounty hunting is no more profitable. It is better to avoid them except the signature campaign. Most startups are failing to generate funds through ICO's or IEO's. So no one here can guarantee you that joining a particular project will be good.

I am not sure about what happened to the Bitcoin project that you are referring to in the first part but, I am associated with a Gambling bounty campaign that pays me in BTC and I have never faced any issues from any of the members in this forum and niether the bounty manager of this campaign.

From what you say, I assume that what the OP said is true, "Altcoins Bounty Hunters are almost alone". So, Is it true nobody really cares about them!?.

Re: (BTCF) the new Bitcoin (Bitcoin fast)
by
zabizana
on 01/10/2019, 16:29:02 UTC

Basically Bitcoin (btc) is outdated (very expensive fee, very slow upwards a day slow)

This can't hold in the long run when technology needs fast transfer in the future. Bitcoin fast uses the old Bitcoin but makes it almost with no fees and instant payment transaction.

So the name of Bitcoin comes handy here, the new Bitcoin can live forever. This is what the real Bitcoin needs to be like and this offers that service. Other currencies can't really offer the same originality as this one.

This coin is coded from the real Bitcoin drawings and is exactly the same as Bitcoin but with upgraded features.

No other ones has really accomplished something like this. Other altercoins will not live and does not have the potential as this one has

Well, that's very interesting! But, I think it's something similar to that offered by BCH.

I think that the opinion of @carlfebz2 is correct.

<....> Before you they do try to dethrone BTC on the spot they should try first to dethrone BCH first on the list.
