I tried mining again 2 days ago and still had the something occur. My address was shown in the worker stats. I even did a control find and copy and paste from the address in my wallet to make sure it was correct.  Im mining with 14,000 Mh/s and I'm getting accepted work.
I got a 1 share once in a while on the pool but would disappear after a few hours.  Not sure whats going on.. Id like to have some Vericoin but...

I mined on pool.vericoin.info for 27 hours 3 days ago and never received a payment. How does the pool work? Each time I checked on it, it would say I would have one share and then later check again and go back to 0 and this happened multiple times. Never went above one share. I was mining X11. I was mining at 14,000 Mh/s.
My address was correct I doubled checked it and also simply copy and pasted it into the conf file so thats not the issue.
My address is VP94abeifQ5KBhyymAXXtCEVB4E4doQwh4
Did you see your address on the website ? http://pool.vericoin.info/workers
If so you may have been mining during the period the server was down, If my memory serves me rite that's about 3 days ago

Can the sender also use a stealth address to pay the person receiving the funds through their stealth address?

many coins...

qrk, digi, mec, ltc, and doge is not going anywhere it is now too large to vanish it is a long term coin.

all those coins with big communities

gambles
dmd, phs, qqc, vert, applecoin, net, nxt

fair coins i'm mining from this wave

beecoin, rabbitcoin, microcoin,  - good launches, KGW or good block scaling and no premines

also like premine coin although just have 100 of those i was given for free in the thread.

it's all a matter of opinion at this point, everyone will say something different.

When you talk about the wave coins are you pumping and dumping or are you holding?
What do you guess dogecoin will end up being price wise. Just a guess Wink
Thanks

Hey guys I'm interested in hearing on what other people cryptocurrencies people are betting on for long term profability.
If you could include the reason why your betting on that currency(s).

(Im curious on what I should be mining lol)
I have GPU rigs

Also what do you guys think about these cryptos for long term profitability?
Quark, Anoncoin, Worldcoin, Vertcoin, Nxtcoin, Dogecoin, Digitalcoin, Mintcoin, Darkcoin

I know its impossible to predict the future but any input is appreciated!
Thanks!

Does anyone know what the exact dates are of halving and the date it will become only 1 coin reward?
Also Are people holding on to these coins long term or pump and dump because Ive been hear both.

Hoping for the next Bitcoin here Wink

Thanks

Do you want an honest opinion? No, it's not going to be "the next bitcoin", but its price will increase higher than today's maximum. It's coming in waves after each block halving, so it should reach higher after the next halving. I think its value will peak once the block rewards drop to 1, and after that it's anyones guess. People will hold out at least until then, so I think we're only at the beginning. Soon as people see a dip it starts a cycle of panic selling after the pump. When the coin gets even rarer people will buy up even more. There's a lot more money left in this horse.

People behave in fairly predictable ways. If enough people are waiting to buy in at the next halving knowing the value will go up, then merely by consensual agreement the value will go up. Even people here think that it will. If enough act upon that, then we should see hikes and dips all the way to a big hike at 1 coin rewards.

If someone with big money is manipulating the price, then you can bet they'll want to do it again after the next halving.

Until the 1 block rewards kick in, that's how long the devs have to get some services and things ready, because after that it's either adopt or drop. The coin will be adopted if the devs get the services in place before then, but if not people will move on. The price can only stabilise if people believe it has a long-term future. PoS alone won't save it.

And just so you know exactly my bias; I hold about 2.2 million Mint, which I mined last week. I didn't sell today, and won't be selling until at least the 1 block reward kicks in. If adoption keeps the price stable and only suffers a minor dip, then I won't sell at all.

Thanks for the info.  I know its impossible to see the future and we still have some time till the 1 block reward but what do you think will happen? You seem like you've seen some cryptos succeed and not.

What do you mean by the devs have to get services up before the 1 block reward? Like exchanges such as cryptsy or real world acceptance?

Last question lol, What other cryptocurrencies do you hold on to for long term that your betting on beside Bitcoin and Litecoin?

Thanks!

Hey guys I have a MSI G45-z87 and trying to get the 6th card to work.

In control panel under device manager the computer sees 6 cards with no error sign over any of the cards.
In CGwatcher it sees the 6th card but has a "-" in stead of "6"  ~ not sure what that means

Ive tried uninstalling catalyst and reinstalling it. Restarted multiple times but nothing.
Im using catalyst 13.11 Beta 9.5.
Running windows 8.1

Please help!

Hey guys I'm getting a list of errors. They are listed below. When I set the configurations lower all cards work fine.
How can fix this and why is this occurring?

- CGminer 3.7.2
- Asrock H81 BTC Pro motherboard
-  BIOS PCI-e settings to gen 1 instead of auto

Ive tried that also downloading a new wallet and restarting my mac but nothing stuck at block 983800

What happens when you close the wallet and open it again - does it tick along for a few blocks and stall ? Similar thing happened to me, i just put up with it - closing and opening for about a week until it synced.

Hey guy I need some help with my Worldcoin wallet.
I downloaded the most recent wallet (.0.8.5.1) a couple of days ago then it said it needed to redo the blocks and has been stuck on block 983800 and has been stuck there for 4 days now.

I have 4 bars says I'm contacted to 8 active networks.
When I hold my mouse over the globe it says
"catching up….
Processed 983800 of 995915 blocks of transaction history (98.78% done).
Last received block was generated 4 days ago."

Please help!

Help get 6 GPUs on MSI Z87-G45 MB
by
zak9494
on 24/01/2014, 01:21:40 UTC
Hey guys, trying to fit 6 280xs on one MSI z87-G45 motherboard.

The motherboard has 7 slots but I'm only able to get 5 GPUs working in 4 express slots and the 16x slot closes to the cpu. I cant get the other two 16x slots to work. Even if it is just the five cards.
The only 16x slot that works is the closes one to the CPU.

Anyone have ideas on how to get one more 280x to work?
Im using 1x to 16x powered risers.

Also any suggestions on overclocking programs that work with Diamond and XFX 280x for Windows 8.1?

Thanks
