Does anyone have better performance on old version of AMD drivers than the latest ones? Or is that a thing of the past?

Did you set radeon settings to performance rather than balanced? Balanced setting will screw with multiple cards. Did you lower intensity in crimson? Not all cards are made the same, even if its the same card. Also, did you purchase new from store or used? Someone could have modded the bios and thats why you read them differently at "stock" settings

Actually I uninstalled all those settings and only the driver remains... Maybe I should do a clean reinstall. Do most people just install drivers or the whole package with Wattool, Settings, etc...? All of my cards are new.

Do a clean uninstall with ddu, reinstall latest crimson. You dont need ReLive part of crimson install. Once its done and restarted, Right click the little crimson tray icon to make sure its set to performance. You could flash your bios, not sure what settings you want with your cards (make sure you save original bios rom though) or just try to lower intensity on core clock and up memory clock with wattman.

OK thanks I will try that.

You recommend Wattman to manage o/c?
And do I need to run Pixel Clock Patcher?

Using MSI Afterburner, AMD Wattman, whatever I try, as soon as I apply the new settings they go right back to the previous ones. My -cclock and -mclock parameters in Claymore are having no effect on anything. The weird thing is I have 2 of the exact same card (MSI RX 570 4G) and their settings are different (2000mhz vs 2150mhz memory clock) ... what could have caused this?

How can I regain control over my cards? I have one that is constantly getting incorrect shares so I need to underclock it a bit and I have two or three that could be pushed a little higher.

I've already uninstalled AMD settings so for now it appears Wattman is out of the picture.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you eliminated an effect caused by software settings by using DDU, uninstalling MSI AB and AMD drivers then those settings most likely hard-coded in cards BIOS. Do you have a switch for dual BIOS. Change  the position, restart the rig and check by GPU-Z. You can modify or re-flash the BIOS from one card to another.

Yes, but those two cards are both using stock BIOS! I just don't understand how one runs at 2000Mhz and one at 2150Mhz no matter what I do with Claymore parameters, Wattool, Afterburner, etc... I basically have no control over the clock speeds of my cards... unless GPU-Z is reporting incorrect information of course...

How can you force the o/c settings in the bat file to apply?

Even with MSI Afterburner uninstalled, I can't get them to work. I have 2 RX570s exact same brand and model that are running at different memory speeds. They both have stock BIOS so how is this possible?

Anyone can offer some advice?

i have eliovp's timings, but i promised him i wouldnt give them out, just dont buy from Mattthev whatever you do.. i bought the same set of timings id already been using for like 5 months, and to "make it better" sent 3 more sets that are horrible and extremely unstable. eliovp's are the best iv ever used, Wolf0's iv heard are good, his claims are better, but i have no personal experience with his so i cant compare

Does he sell them on another website because he doesnt seem to be replying to PMs...

I have 2x MSI Rx 570 Gaming 4G that I can't modify BIOS unless I use pixelclock patcher which causes my miner to crash.

I have 4 other RX 580 cards that I modified their BIOS (using ATIflash) WITHOUT using pixelclock patcher and it works fine. Any ideas why this RX 570 card absolutely requires the patch? Is there any way around it?

Thanks for any help.

But the fee is only 1% for ETH-only mining mode... that's what is posted on the front page...

Yes ETH single mode is 1% dev fee. If you dual mine you will pay 2% dev fee on ETH side only. Dev fee never mines from the extra coin like dcr, sia, pasc but you pay for it in ETH mining time.

In that case it makes absolutely no sense to dual mine because the profit from the extra coins is far far less than another 1% of ETH gone.

How much do you think 1% is?

0.01 ETH of every 1 ETH mined

I don't understand why anyone would mine in dual mode if the fee is 2%... The additional 1% is not covered by DCR/LBRY/SC profit.

Am I understanding this right?

You will pay the 2% on the eth side always.  When devfee kicks in you don't lose anything on the dcr/lbry/sc side at all.  Think of it as a bonus coin.

Are people still getting much better results with 15.2 drivers instead of 17.6?

In hindsight you should have done anon first taking a couple of days - quick win. Coinier said he had a programmer that could do it in a day or two. Price would have gone up to 20-30k floor. After that you could have spent the weeks doing betting and price might have moved between 10k-30k. Now you spent the weeks on betting, another coin got to market first and MIN doesn't have anon either. Now the price did not go above 6k much and is going down on the charts.

did it ever occur to you that maybe the dev cares more about his coin than whether or not some greedy anon can make a quick buck off it?
