Thanks for your replies.  What I'm really missing are email notifications when hashrate drops by a certain percentage.  On GHash I would get a notification on my phone when one of my miners drops significantly or they all drop (internet connection drops for example).  I've been burnt in the past when my internet connection dropped for hours and the only issue was my modem needed a hard reset.  Unfortunately this is happening way too frequent and I'm at the point where I don't trust my ISP or any for that matter!

I usually pull up http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/YOUR_ADDRESS_HERE on my phone but I find myself checking this page way too often.  

I love the pool monitor application but I don't see anything for remote users.  I don't really feel like Teamviewer or VPN + VNC is the best use of my time and resources to check on my equipment and internet connection.

Thanks again!  Anyone know when we're getting paid out?  My unpaid balance is getting BIG!  

I just came back to Eligius a few days and noticed that I'm not getting paid out.  Is there any kind of issue going on or is this normal?  Unfortunately I was one of the sheep at GHash and I'm trying to move to a smaller pool.  I already miss the consistent payout and monitoring tools.  I'm not panicking, just hoping for more info. 

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know how much this community has taught me about Antminers.  I don't post much but I'm always reading...

I just received my S3's today and started booting them up.  One caught my attention because some of the settings in Miner Configuration were missing (Pool Balance, Beeper Ring and Stop Running when...).  I decided to copy the firmware off of Bitmain's website and give it a go, perhaps the firmware wasn't updated to the first release version before it was shipped.  Sure enough that did the trick.

The next item I ran into was the frequency was set to 350.  I'm sorry I don't have screenshots because I was too busy trying to troubleshoot and forgot to take screenshots!  I was able to SSH into the device and change the frequency to the default 218.75 and voila, it's up and running!

I just wanted to thank you all for providing so much knowledge into Bitmain's devices.  If it weren't for you guys I would probably be sending this item back to Bitmain or at the very least waiting for support to help me troubleshoot the issue.  If anyone else has run into the issue where they are getting XXX's in their ASIC status, please check to make sure the frequency is correct.  My guess is they were playing with this device and never configured it to the default before shipping out.

Never know.  Bitmain did mention that B1 was going to be the most time consuming to manufacturer and ship out.  Wouldn't be surprised if B2 was on an accelerated timetable.

Thanks sjc1490, I've sent Bitmain an email to see if they help the process along. 

Second day stuck in customs.  I've emailed UPS but I doubt they can do anything or provide much information.  They're not asking for additional information at this point so I'm not sure what my options are, if any.

Thanks for the info opentoe.  I'll be on the lookout for an email and will send an email to UPS for details.

Haven't spoken to UPS yet, going to give it a full day.  Customs can be a real pain and I can only hope this isn't going to be one of those times.  I would have expected US customs to review contents before the Chinese.  

UPS quoted me a delivery of the 17th, that's why I stated the 17th.  My UPS details are the same as yours except the next notification I received states that there is a delay exporting from China.  I'm in the United States.  Details below:

My order @ 2014-06-30 14:07:45.0 has not shipped yet.  I will be content if it ships sometime today.

What a mess, I feel terrible for people that lost their money to this company.  Yes, it is lost, getting 600gh at this point is a joke.  It's an expensive but very important lesson we can all learn from.  My guess is BFL has no choice but to scam their customers at this point.  I doubt they have the money left to provide refunds.

I hate myself for clicking on this thread, then more hate after reading the OP's posts defending his angle.  It's not free, that's why people are unhappy with your thread.  Change the thread subject to Wireless Electricity Monitoring and the flaming will go away.  

Well... almost.  You can literally go read your meter and find out how much power you're consuming with a little bit of 3rd grade math.  For $200 you get to see how much power you're using on your phone or computer in real time.  Eh... I'm ok with the old fashion way of reading my power consumption from an electricity bill.  

Sign me up for one!

Bitmain is very good about manually changing your order to paid / valid.  You can wait an hour or two then shoot them a quick email with your payment address.
