Re: People say altcoins won't survive
by

I also say like that, but not all altcoins are not going to survive, because altcoins on cryptocurrency are too many, so it is likely that most altcoins will not survive but there are also altcoins that have good functions that make the altcoin survive, so not all altcoin can't survive but there are some altcoins that will still survive.
We should distinguish good altcoins from fake or zero-value altcoins. People say all altcoins won't survive? That's just an outrageous lie. If we say that bad coins won't survive, yay!

Re: How safe is our money in crypto?

Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.

If you have a proper knowledge here in cryptocurrency then I must say that your money is safe and as long as you invest in some legitimate coins in the market because some crypto coins are just scams.
And also if you can somehow outsmart the hackers that hack exchanges and wallets, then also you increase your chances of not losing your life's savings invested in crypto.

Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ??

I was on the campaign too, although on the Facebook and twitter campaigns. I had to stop when the team stopped updating their pages. To me, that was a sign of lack of faith on the part of the team. Bountyhives is still good but one has to be careful the campaign he joins on the platform as not all projects are worth the attention.  I have faith in bountyhives but we don't get to see stakes which is bad.
That is the risk of a bounty campaign, but if a manager doesn't give us the data stakes we get, you may be suspicious of the manager.
What good will it do? Blaming anyone won't help. They won't give you your time back or manipulate the market into recognizing their project as successful. We just need to think in advance and stay away from potential losers.

This are my way of protecting my coins/tokens because recently my wallet been hack and some of my holdings gone. First create two wallets one for your holding or banking then second wallet for transactions or some aidrops. And try to download meta mask this app can help you to prevent phising site. And lastly keep your password/private key on your own way try to hide it.
I am very sorry your wallet has been hacker. Terrible experience. I think having several wallets is a better idea. I will also try to download meta mask. I keep my password private but I do not feel secure.

Re: Are you holding EOS?

A small amount, because I think that it was not so easy to make loud statements about its future growth. Of course, the bear market has slightly suspended development, but I think that this is even a plus for this coin in order to create an ideal reserve for the future in a relaxed atmosphere, and to show it in the future bull trend.
Yes, nobody can predict the future, but EOS is still a good product to hold. We need to be smart and support potentially great technologies and coins.

Re: Will every crypto coin survive?

Cryptocurrencies overall have a bright future, but it will undergo a selection process and the best coin wins. It is too early to tell right now.
I don’t think we need every crypto coin to survive. It's natural selection, you're right. More of the same thing? Who needs that? We need every type of crypto to survive, not every single crypto.

For now I choose to use a nano-s wallet that is safe to be able to protect my digital assets from hackers. because now more and more hackers are doing their actions to steal the assets of many people who are off guard
Thank you for the tip, I will try nano-s wallet. I don't think that anything is safe 100%. I agree that we need to keep our guard up and try to save our assets from hackers as much as possible.

the knowledge is what matters most in this market, thanks to the knowledge you can make your predictions or know how to manage the market in the coming days, that will allow you to generate good profits if that's why you're here, there are also people who want to know for knowing, these usually become collaborators and you can see them among the legendary members of the forum.
Knowledge is the basis for success in every area. Ignorant people cannot be successful. The market needs smart people to operate it. It all depends on us and our skills that grow from deep knowledge of the crypto.

Re: what to do when the market is weakening now
by

the current crypto market is so weak, there is no increase in the price of crypto, even the price of crypto is getting down, what should we do when the market weaken at this time?
It's a very popular question here. You should check out other threads with similar problematic. Many pieces of advice there. The principal one is to hold, wait for the time to sell, and buy cheap coins with potential for growth.

If the Novice wants to invest certainly they should learn first about crypto. How long is certainly quite flexible and vary. If science has been quite weaker then don't overcook and immediately apply it to real investment in crypto. but the most important learning that will always be the most important determinant. you must learn from your older friends and gain experience. according to some experts need to learn from six months the longer you will be more savvy. Do not make the mistake of most young people do not start to buy only on the emotions of 70% of their initial capital, I lost only by the fact that after a month of market research, I decided for myself that is ready to invest in the long term. Six months later, I realized that the market is now too volatile and this can make good money.
I agree about six months. It's a ballpark figure for learning the ropes here. I also do not recommend to use any emotion in trading. Learning this will take more time.

i was thinking to sell my bitcoins and buy ethereum what do you thinkl guys
I think you should keep holding Bitcoin, because its price may double when SEC rules. After that it moons, and all alts will follow. You can also split your assets between ETH and BTC.

There is no 100% security anywhere. Banks get bankrupt, cash gets stolen, real estate burns down, crypto is volatile. Security in the cryptomarket can be improved with technology, so let's hope that our assets will be safer with time.

Re: Hold your coins in multiple wallets
by
zekarsalih
on 04/09/2018, 07:06:12 UTC
Hi,

I lost some coins this year (my own fault in Phising)
But if you send your coins to multiple wallets you can split your investments better.

When your wallet is hacked you only lose this wallet.
This is my lesson for the next time  Smiley (and some other securities)

What do you do to secure your coins / tokens?

It's difficult to keep multiple wallets. You can have 10 wallets for assets based on one coin to reduce the risk 10x but it also takes 10x more effort to keep them. Your choice.

Yes. We can observe that many ICO projects are created by Russian developers. So the answer is obvious.
A new set of regulations for ICOs has been presented by the Russian Ministry of Communications. Companies organizing token sales will be obliged to guarantee that investors can sell back their tokens. Coin issuers will have to prove they control at least 100 million rubles of authorized capital in a Russian bank account.

The market has really been down for quite some time, but it seems that things are now beginning to get better. The market is gradually adjusting and the price of bitcoin is rising gradually. I just hope to see it continue. Although my focus is on the 4th quarter.
Yes, it's above $7000 today. Good sign, but the market is still panicking. The cryptomarket gets bad press, security is still inadequate, there is no central authority regulating Bitcoin and altcoins. The market is far from being up.

bitcoin prices cannot continue to rise, there must be a moment down so that traders can still get daily profit
You have to start trying to understand the chart, rather than having to contemplate fate
experience is very valuable, especially to support your career in the future
I agree. Experience we are getting now is priceless. Not everyone is as lucky to be in the middle of the history being made. The cryptomarket is in the state of development, so we shouldn't panic when prices drop or recovery is slow.

Re: Is the price of ethereum dependent on bitcoin?
by
zekarsalih
on 29/08/2018, 06:10:46 UTC
I think, yes of course, all the altcoins prices are dependent on bitcoin. Absolutely all coins immediately react to the change in the rate of BTC. BTC is growing, growing, everything else falls BTC and everyone falls for him.
And yet, as I am watching the Coincap app on my phone I can distinctly see that while BTC price goes down by the second, the prices of some coins can go up. On a daily basis, they can be even inversely correlated with respect to BTC.
