Talking about safety i would choose bitcoin and i think funds in xapo are not safe from even xapo because of their more safety features.They may suddenly ask for identity verification which i never like.Thats why i am using blockchain.info wallet over xapo and many other would also recommend the same.

I see many twitter, facebook jobs offers on services section, many of them offering aproximatelly 10K-20K satoshis to do some advertisements. This is the thing commonplace happen to websites, not only blockchain.info who have problems like this as long as there is no information that the attack are dangerous, just can wait until the site is back online.
