When will the interest rate (%) be shown again?  When this btc bank opened, Haobtc was transparent about the interest rate given... it was a key factor in many people supporting this mining farm.

Question about p2pools..

I've never successfully been able to connect to any p2pool listed on the p2pool site.  Yes, I connect to verters and coinotron with ease, but not p2pool.

I constantly get "no connection errors".  Yes, I've used my wallet and pass x for miner, but no luck.  I would rather bring my mining "power" over to the p2pool in order to help balance the coin.

Suggestions?

Okay... updated to 14.4... rather, downgraded to 14.4 and changed some settings with .conf and now it works.

Still getting the same issue here.  Hashing pretty well but doing no work.  So, not actually doing anything well at all.

I16, worksize 32 or 64.  256 worksize gives 100% HW error rate.

Tried on coinotron and verters.

Suggestions?  Yes, I am using the latest algorithm and I have my conf file set properly in accordance with changes....

Lyra2REv2 is giving me a hashrate of 8Mh/s but I am not getting any shares at all.  Ideas?

I've updated video drivers, I am using a ATI 7950 video card.

Intensity is 15 (otherwise I only get HW errors)
Worksize is 64 (otherwise I only get HW errors)

updated to latest on github and using Lyra2REv2 for algo.

I am connecting to pool.verters.com without issue... just not getting any successful shares.

Ideas?

My thoughts so far on BFL...

I ordered 3 x 60gh units when they first came out.  It took BFL months to bring them to market.  by the time the product arrived, they were just nearing obsolescence.  Granted, electricity is cheap where I live and I mined with them for over a full year.

Move ahead to 28nm era... I ordered several of the new monarchs.  BFL was late.. very late with their delivery.  When they arrived, the price had been reduced to compensate and deals had been struck.  Plus, BFL was raided by some US agency for non-compliance and breach of trust.

Would I buy from BFL again?  no..  did BFL seriously harm BTC.. yes, in the short term.  Do I continue to support cryptos?  yes.

BFL also seriously harmed US business credibility in the crypto field.  This company had a great opportunity to release a state of the art product and to become a leader in the crypto market and instead, it squandered this potential for a quick buck.

I can only hope BFL will honor the court ordered refunds and continue refunding until all funds are returned.

BTW:  When did BFL shut down the forum?

The bank page no longer displays active interest rate on "wallet" page.  Will this be fixed?

Burnside!

When I attempt to log into the website, I get redirected back to the login screen.

Where are you?  What has happened and how can this be fixed.

The following link got me banned from bfl forum today.  Thought I would share with the rest of world how petty the bfL forum moderator is.

Specifically read section b(3).

Enjoy.

WTF is going on with this pool...  I can't log into my account anymore.  I change the password via the system and the webpage sends me back to the login / register site.

I am starting to this that burnside is losing his mind or that the pool has been taken over by malicious hackers.

We've all been trying to contact Burnside for upwards two weeks now to solve little issues here and there.

I hope Burnside is OK and that he comes back soon.

The stale problem is specifically with Getwork... Burnside has stated he is working on getting stratum up and working for ltc.

Once stratum is running, I'll be putting all of my "power" behind this pool.

Hey Null,

First, I'd recommend using --scrypt with bfgminer.  The code has been modified and cleaned up by kano and it works with a little less overhead than the original cgminer (it is based on it and works the same way).

Give me a day and I'll have something for you to play with.  If you come up with anything yourself before then, please post it here and we can work it out together for everyone.

Thanks

Adding Stratum to the pool would most likely reduce stale shares to less than 5%.

Granted, if the stales are being caused by DDOS attacks.... then it really doesn't matter if we have a dedicated glass tube laser comms device between us and the pool... the pool simply won't respond.   Undecided

I would certainly buy a few ltc coins.  They looks very cool and give the feeling of old style Savings Bonds that grandma would give you when you were a kid.

Why DDOS?  These attacks are system wide on every Ltc and Btc pool on the planet.  Ever since the Cyprus financial crisis and its lead up, bitcoin and litecoin have had amazing growth.  With this growth has come fear from many groups outside of the btc/ltc "world".  Speculation on how btc/ltc can and is affecting real world currencies is scaring the crap out of major financial institutions and many world governments.

It should come as no surprise that using or purpetuating btc/ltc makes targets of us all by old world financial as we are using a non-traceable, non-taxable form of currency and trade.

Ask yourself, if you were the head of a national central bank and you noticed hundreds of millions of dollars being dumped into some digital currency, wouldn't you want it stopped?

Now ask yourself, what groups on the planet have the power to knock out both btc/ltc exchanges AND most of the btc/ltc mining pools at the same time?  Any moderately well-read person will come up with is rather small list with that specific capability...

I will continue to mine despite the current issues.

Hi

New to this pool and new to ltc.  I am very interested in pushing my btc hardware to mine entirely for ltc as ASIC's move in.

What is the estimated establish time for Stratum on this pool?

What can be done to lower the stale rate until Stratum is setup?
