Anyone with a Batch 1 BJ order who then ordered a BJ upgrade card in Batch 2 get their shipment yet?  I think I've seen one report, but I'm not sure.

I have Order: #2*9* for a Baby Jet Upgrade Kit.  I haven't heard anything from Hashfast about shipping, but they seem to have a record of it.

I'm experiencing a similar problem.  What version of minepeon and cgminer are you using?

I'm using what HF shipped me:

  • MinePeon Version: MinePeon 0.2.4.3
  • Miner Version: cgminer3.9.0h2

Once I find some free time I will try a different USB cable, upgrading to 3.11 and reflashing the SD card to see if any of these options help.

I reflashed the SD card to 0.2.4.3 and it's stable.  When I tried to update to cgminer 3.11 on 0.2.4.3 it crashed after a few hours and so did Minepeon 0.2.5-pr1, even when I had the clock speed set to default.

In other news, my BJ still goes belly up after ~30 hrs of stable mining. I'm still on cgminer3.9.0h2 so I might try compiling the 3.11 version to see if that fixes my stability issues.

Just happened again. Checking the cgminer logs this is the error I get:

Code:
[2014-01-28 20:53:32] HFA 0: Bad work sequence tail
[2014-01-28 20:53:33] HFA 0 HFClearRead usb read err:(-9) LIBUSB_ERROR_PIPE
[2014-01-28 20:53:33] HFA 0 attempted reset got err:(-5) LIBUSB_ERROR_NOT_FOUND
[2014-01-28 20:53:38] Hotplug: Hashfast added HFA 1

In most cases I end up with two devices HFA 0 reporting some crazy TH figures, and a new HFA 1 device working correctly. In some cases HFA 1 does not appear and mining stops.

I think that the ASIC related discussions could be moved to the Hardware section and discussion of things like K16 boards could stay in the Custom hardware section.

You guys don't get it yet, do you?

The money is gone.

There ain't no money to be had.

It's over.

My $.02.

Wink

LostDutchman, what facts do you have to support your opinion that "the money is gone"?   None?

OK, let's try this on for size, shall we?

How about if there was money to be had, refunds would be handled in a timely manner, without delay and all the fanfare?

Look at the evidence.

Terrahash has by its own admission closed up shop, is very difficult to contact and dozens, if not hundreds of people are out there howling for refunds and for the most part, not getting them.

Lawsuits are piling up, comlaints to consumer protection agencies are rife and there are just not any happy campers in the wild.

Figure it out.

If Terrahash wanted to avoid or could avoid all the brou-ha-ha it would make sense for it do do so ASAP.

Terrahash canot avoid it because there is nothing to avoid it with.

IMHO, it is only a matter of time before what is left of the walls come tumbling down and the Humptey-Dumptey that is Terrahash falls off the ruins, never to be put back together again.

My $.02.

Wink

We get it.  That's your opinion.  Now unless you have something new to bring to the table, please let the rest of us figure out what we're doing.

Is there anyone taking legal action in the US or putting together a group lawsuit?  Terrahash still owes me a decent amount of money from ACH transfers I was unable to chargeback.

And yes there is someone taking legal action, around 5 pages back and there's a company sueing them also.

I'm open to a class action suit.

At this point Terrahash, it might be better to ask for a full refund for your Avalon chips and extend the offer to Avalon Gen 2 as you can use roughly the same parts you have in stock.

sounds as perfect solution for me

What's funny is new information like this is coming out day after day, it's no wonder Terrahash doesn't want to say anything as what they say could change with the slightest bit of new information coming out and then all the FUDsters would go crazy on them some more.

However I do think that holding out to the Avalon Gen 2 would be a great idea for customers and Terrahash.

Sure Avalon sucks for doing this but honestly they are giving EVERYONE the opportunity to refund in full from them. What other Chip Developer would ever do that? I would buy Gen 2 from them if it was "immediate delivery" as they suggest.
Agreed.  I can hold out for a chip update on my order.

I just sent in a tech support ticket to Terrahash asking for a full refund.  We'll see how long it takes for a reply.  I'll update once they reply.

Hey!
Once again thanks for taking the pain out of installing!
When I ran the installer, midstate failed to build, lacking Python.h
Installed python3-dev and ran your great script again and all was fine.
So I assumed it wasn't in, sorry about that!
Tnx again!
Ras

If it ever fails to compile something, maybe just run it a second time. Cheesy

You could add python3-dev to the system installer.

python3-dev is already in the installer. Cheesy

Auction will go on for 7 days. Shorter if you convince me somehow. :-)

zero-asic: is your offer real?

It's been over 7 days and I have sent OP several messages over the forum and received no reply.  I understand that this auction didn't go as planned and the price isn't as high as was hoped for, but I could still be persuaded to purchase the unit and we should negotiate the final price.

OP where are you?

obvious group scam until proven otherwise publicly.
If you think I'm a scammer then then please go check out my hashrate on ozcoin.  I'm trying to buy 2 upgrades over here!

Why should YOU care if I consider it a scam? You have already purchased the upgrades right? Just saying that anyone buying Asics without escrow is a moron.
You're entitled to your opinion, but you said I'm part of a group scam and I'm not.  I'm a little offended actually.  Furthermore, if you don't intend on purchasing anything then posting in this thread is really just trolling.  You should stop being a troll and I should stop feeding the trolls.  Peace.

It's not trolling to enlighten possibly new members as to the dangers of trading on the forum without escrow. I'm pretty sure JohnK and pretty much any senior member would agree. The more people that get scammed, the worse the environment gets.
I completely agree with you, but you lacked so much tact that you called me a scammer too.  I'm not going to change my stance on having been accused of being apart of a group scam.  Having already spoken your peace, further posts are simply trolling and I'm going to continue to defend my reputation.  Shame on you sir, a Hero Member should behave better or STFU.
