This is the message I get from this forum below.

I know about https://coinmarketcap.com/ but is there anything out there that lets you filter out clones and all the cyrptos that are not different then bitcoin?
I am looking for alt coins that do something different. I do see there's these meta layer coins or asset coins that seem to trade like crypto but seem to run on ethereum, neo or nxt networks.

These asset coins from some of the ones I have seen are more like IPOs and seem to be like a stock in that company. I am wondering what the tax treatment on them is they look like unlicensed security to me and nothing like the other cryptos that are more like currencies.

This is getting bad worst then the last bubble which had no where near this much congestion. The problem is the demand doesn't seem to be consistent so how can you know what amount you need to pay in fees? Also with the block size is so low and scarce that wouldn't it be possible for fees to go to infinity if you having to constantly outbid someone else just for your transaction to go through?

Is it possible to fork bitcoin into lets say side chains that are swappable and pegged at a 1 to 1 bitcoin rate. And to utilize these for blockchain space for micro transactions?

Some simple math.
Assume we have 30 mil bitcoin users.
Every user should open a LN channel and close LN channel.
Bitcoin can handle 300 000 transactions per day.
30 mil users should wait for 100 days so every one can open a channel, and 100 days to close a channel if there is no other transactions besides LN settlements in bitcoin network.
300 mil users should wait 1000 days, so every user can have openned LN channel.
Bitcoin can't even adopt Lightning Network without big blocks. LN official release will lead just to another huge fee spike, and since LN channels should be restarted regularly bitcoin network can be clogged by LN settlements.
It's extremely unlikely that every single user is going to attempt to open lightning channels simultaneously on the day that a fully released software for LN is available. It is extremely unlikely that every single user is going to attempt to close their lightning channels simultaneously. As with literally every other release of a new technology in Bitcoin, it's going to take months, probably years, before LN is actually widely used. Just look at how long it took for P2SH to become widely used. And how long it has taken for segwit. This situation you are describing is extremely unlikely to happen.

So is there any limit to how many transactions LN can handle. It seems like opening and closing channels would count as two transactions and theirs a limit for how much data that can fit in a bitcoin block. I am just trying to wrap my head around the LN it's confusing to me.

So here's a very interesting conspiracy theory going around. There seems to be a 19th-Century Books Featuring Boy Named ‘Baron Trump’ and not only is that a freaky coincidence but the images and aspects of the story can further be tied to the modern day.

The books are credited to Ingersoll Lockwood, a lawyer who dabbled in fantasy fiction.

Lockwood’s series of 19th-century children’s books includes: Travels and Adventures of Little Baron Trump and His Wonderful Dog Bulger; Extraordinary Experiences of Little Captain Doppelkop on the Shores of Bubbleland; Wonderful Deeds and Doings of Little Giant Boab and His Talking Raven Tabib; and Baron Trump’s Marvellous Underground Journey.

In Baron Trump’s Marvellous Underground Journey, Baron is a wealthy young man living in a place called Castle Trump, but his real adventures begin when Don, the “Master of all Masters,” inspires him to travel to Russia, where he finds a portal that allows him to travel to other lands.

The man in the book is actually named Don Constantino Bartolomeo Strepholofidgeguaneriusfum, so yes, “Don” is a title, but still...

Lockwood also wrote a pamphlet in 1896 called The Last President, which does not feature the Baron Trump character but has some interesting parallels to modern times. It begins in New York City, which is up in arms over the election of an outsider candidate. The news causes those “in the upper portions” of the city to sit “as if paralyzed with a nameless dread.”

“Mobs of vast size are organizing under the lead of anarchists and socialists, and threaten to plunder and despoil the houses of the rich who have wronged and oppressed them for so many years,” an early passage of the book reads.

The coincidences in the books are getting interest from internet conspiracy theorists, some of whom believe the portal to other worlds in the Baron Trump book supports a theory that the Trump family has had access to time travel for many years ― through the president’s uncle, engineer John Trump.

John Trump reportedly had access to the papers of Nikola Tesla, who, according to the theory, was researching time travel ― and whose knowledge somehow enabled Trump to win the 2016 presidential election.

There's even a possible movie that could get made on it. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-baron-trump-adventures-film-fantasy

You shouldn't at all since you made 0 dollars. The IRS only taxes you on your profits.

I like how people say HE DIDNT PAY TAXES, well just as I said, he's an excellent businessman and knows the tax system better that anyone, there's a loophole that allowed him not to pay taxes after a huge business loss, and that loop hole was implemented by Bill Clinton that was use the say way by Hillary... and as I said you're all more AGAINST God Emperor than you're FOR hillary.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwkMfpge3gE

It's not a loophole.  Carry forward of losses makes total sense.

Suppose your business loses $5000 and in the next five years you make $1000 each year.  How should you be taxed?

The President may be a person who does not pay taxes, and therefore does nothing for the prosperity of the state. How people in General can vote for him?

Please answer the question.

Is there a way to ensure the coin never gets any distributions, as I would prefer to keep it unfunded, I just wasn't sure how it all worked yet?

Not currently.

Maybe a new collectible coin can be released that comes empty that's not attached to seats.

Thanks!
