Re: Life without technology

Modern technology makes better life but we can live in this world without technology. We should not forget that there was a time where people used to live without technology. So I think it would be better to adapt to life without technology as well.

Nothing. Unless they cheat, to win an easy money is required a good luck. What are the chances that a gambler will win on a single day or over a week and then stop gambling.? If a gambler wins and believes in feeling “lucky”, they could end up spending more money based on how they are feeling.

holding physical gold, silver and other metals such as platinum or copper would definitely hold some value if you don’t trust the banks.

it depends what you think it's for.  i trust the maths of bitcoin because bitcoins are nothing more than strings of computer code. most of the computer code behind it has been checked over by lots of programmers. the algorithm that limits the supply of coins also verifies transactions between anonymous users. so there is a record of when the coins are bought and sold. but it is worth only as much as other people's desire to use them.

It's only money.
Stay out of bitcoin completely if it is causing you this much turmoil.
You'll still end up dead, like the rest of us.
Save your emotions for other people.

I speak to myself. I'm what they call an emotional investor.

Yeah, that's happened to me before, the transaction failed, the link evaporated next day, it took 4 days to get the BTC.
I think the transaction is failed due to too low transaction fee so the btc come back to the sender, and the sender resent.

day one: transaction failed
day two: the link evaporated
day three: the link reappeared but the transactions will never confirm
day four: I finally received the btc

I didn't take the matter up with secondstrade because I bet a very small amount.

Did you create this? this was a good one I liked it :-), I wish there were some adventure or fantasy based bitcoin comic - that would be a fun read.

Not me. The original URL is

http://www.geekculture.com/joyoftech/joyarchives/1830.html

The Joy of Tech is a comic about technology and pop culture and updated 2-3 times a week.

Bitcoin is very volatile, and it is not a stock.
If someone hacks into your bank and drains it, you're protected by the FDIC.
If someone compromises your bitcoin wallet, you're out of luck.

Do you agree, disagree or partly agree?

1. Mine your own Bitcoins.
2. Do work for Bitcoins.
3. Offer something for Bitcoins.
4. Gambling and casino games.
5. Use various Bitcoin faucets. (I think faucet is just wasting your time)
6. Signature campaign
7. Boost your trading skills.
