Re: It is right to come back?

We all know January always the though months for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has just started to rise. I don't know it is real or only an another trap for price fall.

What do you think? Are we ready for rise? And Is it really good time for rise?
Some experts predict a fall in prices from the end of January 2019 until April 2019. But I think a lot will depend on upcoming events in the cryptocurrency industry. It is also important whether the ETH update will be launched on time. Of course the situation will be affected by the entry of large investors into the market.

HODL for only the brave  Huh
What do my friends say, I think our hopes will be rewarded! Wink
Personally, I am sure that the cryptocurrency market in the future will delight us with a large increase in prices. I wish everyone patience, as it may take 2-3 years to restore the market. I buy interesting coins for me on the price drop in order to average prices in the portfolio.

Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts?

Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!
Of course it is very risky. Many of these coins may cease to exist, some may be removed from exchanges and you will not have the opportunity to sell them. On the one hand, there are many risks, and on the other hand, such coins can bring much more profit, since they usually have small capitalization and a low price. I invest in such coins about 20-30% of the budget. But I very carefully select such coins and realize the risks.

Re: If ICO Fails, Then what happen next?
by

on 28/12/2018, 07:21:11 UTC
There are many ICO is running at the same time. Maximum ICO can't be success. So, if I invest in any ICO and if they can't be success then what will happen with my money? Will they give me back me my money or not? I am so confused. So, please kindly inform me.

Thank You Everyone.
At this time there is no legislative basis for holding an ICO, that is, investors are not protected from risks and are not insured. You invest at your own risk. But some projects in the case where the ICO failed, may return the funds to investors. But not all do so.

Re: 2019 is it the new beginning will come to crypto currencies?
by

2019 seems to be a new hope for crypto, because some developments will probably occur that year, for example Ethereum will soon fork as a refinement and as a means to increase prices, do you all believe 2019 will be better for crypto currency?
Of course, in 2019 many important and significant events for the cryptocurrency industry are expected. It gives great hope.
But I believe that for the further development of the cryptocurrency industry. us need to start the actual application of technology. Then the market will receive a new impetus and prices will start rising again.

Re: Value investment tool for altcoin
by
zerrtty
on 27/12/2018, 08:11:16 UTC
I think the prospect of cryptocurrency is very good. Now the investment in cryptocurrency must be profitable, but there are thousands of altcoin on the market, and there will be more in the future. At present, many are scams, and the value will be zero.
I want to know what value investing tools can determine which coins are worth investing and which will become the next generation of Bitcoin or Ethereum.
I think that now it is very difficult to determine which projects will survive in the future. Technologies develop very quickly and many projects will simply die out. The legal framework and the structure of the market as a whole will also change. Only those projects that will be in demand in real life or business will survive.

Almost all top coins have sunk heavily in price. Also, tokens of young projects can be purchased at a price lower than what they cost on ICO. Top coins fell in price less than others, but investing in them is less risky. You can collect a conservative investment portfolio of top coins. For example, Bitcoin, XRP, Ethereum, Cardano, Stellar, EOS.

Everyone keeps saying that neo will surpass eth.. how come then the price hasn't even gone over $100 :/
Neo is currently very little in demand and, moreover, the project has been adapted mainly for projects from Asia. And of course, Neo is unlikely to surpass Eth. Neo can compete like other similar platforms, but no more.

Re: Is now the time to buy ALTs?

I say YES for quality ALTs with working teams and good vision. I think Cardano, Stellar are a couple of good ones!
What do you think?
In addition, I think you need to hold for a couple of years!
Of course it is time to buy altcoins. Price Cardano, Stellar and other top coins now looks very attractive and they are good for long-term holding. I also believe that prices in 2-3 years will grow very significantly and the coins will give a decent income.

I completely agree, now there are very reasonable prices for investing in cryptocurrency. Most of the deposit I invest in top coins. Also, tokens of many promising projects can be bought cheaper than they cost at ICO.

There are some controversial points for me in the EOS project. For example, it suffices to recall how the platform launched with bugs. Also history with the abolition of transactions. Now the creator of the EOS project goes to another project. The concept of the project itself is certainly interesting. But at the moment I have a negative attitude towards the project.

Re: Less price = more profit?

Friends, does it make sense to take very cheap altcoins <$ 1? I think about buying, but I am interested in your opinion. Will they leave the market and exchanges, with such a strong fall?
In fact, it is. Coins with a smaller capitalization can bring more profits. But of course there is a risk that with some of them there may be problems, for example the exchanges may to delisting them. If there is an opportunity to constantly monitor the market and prices, then of course you can trade such coins.

Last year ethereum also experienced a decline as it is now, but to my knowledge does the price not fall as badly as this? how could this happen? what is behind it?
The price of Ethereum was naturally influenced by the overall market situation. But I think. which was further influenced by the huge amount of Ethereum that was sold by projects that got it on ICO. In a fairly short time, a lot of ethereum has been sold. But projects need funds for further work.

Some Interesting stuff going across the Crypto market, BTC is slowly recovering and there is a good change so far in the market, I guess we are nearing to the bull run. Are the happy days are on the way?
I do not think so. The price of bitcoin is in a certain range and does not leave it yet. Bitcoin price should return at least $ 6000 and then we can talk about something more specific. I think that the upward trend is about to begin no earlier than mid-2019.

Re: Why cryptos are facing such downfall?
by
zerrtty
on 22/12/2018, 09:23:47 UTC
You name it, I will say it's falling. The rise and fall may be a part of a game, but just in a year, the value is getting less and less. There are several reasons behind it. Like volatility, bad press, stringent government policies, less security and many more.

Are you still investing in cryptos? If yes what do you think is the reason behind it and please share your views so that people who are investing and wanted to invest can learn more.

The cryptocurrency market is subject to manipulation by major players. If traders make money on high volatility, then investors certainly experience the stress of falling prices. Personally, I believe that the cryptocurrency market will grow sooner or later. Of course, not all coins will survive difficult times, but at least coins from the top 10 are in my investment portfolio and of course the tokens of projects that I believe in.

Re: Hope for hodlers

To my best understanding
Presently, the crypto currency market is a game of who buys or accumulates most tokens or bitcoins

The Government and The  big men wants to buy several of it and companies want to be a part of it as well

If we see BTC at $3k, I won't be surprised but when the moon and bull runs start..

It will be as eagles soar on the sky high
I think that 2019 will be very significant for the cryptocurrency industry. But I think that the maximum market growth will begin in 2-3 years, when conditions will be created and plans to regulate the market will be implemented. Perhaps there will be a new cryptocurrency boom and there will be new price highs.

Re: Why Government does not like crypto?
by
zerrtty
on 22/12/2018, 09:02:05 UTC
Cryptocurrency is the most popular terms nowadays. People like cryptocurrency so much. Many people are involving in the crypto world. Everyone wants to earn money from cryptocurrency. While people are liking cryptocurrency, Government does not like it at all. In some countries, the government banned the cryptocurrency. What is the reason behind this banned?
The Government does not like what it cannot control and regulate. Cryptocurrencies have become too rapidly popular, so they did not have time to develop a legislative framework. I believe that prohibitions in some countries are just a temporary measure, and later, under certain conditions, a cryptocurrency can be approved and applied. As early as 2019, serious changes could occur in this direction.

Re: Your past experience will always be an added advantage
by
zerrtty
on 22/12/2018, 08:53:42 UTC
Experience is very vital in life, either good or bad.
You might have encountered some challenges (while trading, investing or in the use of some crypto tools) in the crypto space, your manner of approach and how you were able to solve them or perhaps you could not, all these together can help you to make good decisions in the future.
Only the fearful will never dear to take a risk that will be an advantage to him in future.
This is a trending technology with a bright future. Learn more about it, teach others, make use of it and very soon, you will see it working for you.
I believe that not always past experience can be an advantage. I think that the ability to analyze information, the desire to develop in new areas and the ability to find the necessary information are much more important. We live in a world with large flows of information and her becomes even more. But in some cases, of course, both positive and negative experiences can be an advantage.

Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump
by
zerrtty
on 21/12/2018, 15:37:38 UTC
After careful research, when you see a good ICO, you would know and there will be no doubt about it.
I have noticed that good ICOs also dump after listing, competing with crap ones that have no definite direction, but to cart away funds.
There are ways in which they can be protected and prevent unreasonable dump in price. Some of which are:

1. They should be managed by credible and trusted managers, managers that already have good reputation on the forum, else the trust might not be there.

2. KYC should be made mandatory for all bounty and airdrop participants in order to avoid multiple accounts. The kyc should be announced

3. Participants should be made to complete the remaining process of their registrations on the project's website, where IP can be detected. Multiple accounts can also be prevented this way.

4. Listing should be done on reliable and reputable exchange sites.

5. There should be regular and prompt communication with the community.

6. Projects should maintain and comply to their roadmaps and if there is amendment, the community should be made to know, with concrete reasons.

These are just few among so many other solutions, but if this few are integrated into the system, i believe dump can be minimized if not totally eliminated.
The fall in the price of tokens of projects after the end of ICOs may depend on many factors. For example, from the situation on the market, from the economic situation in general, on how the project complies with its roadmap and deadlines. The main problem is that almost all projects have no real use and do not generate profits. Cryptocurrency at this stage is an asset for speculation and for someone an additional means of payment.

Re: is this a good sign for ethereum
by

on 20/12/2018, 09:38:30 UTC
A state-owned bank in Brazil is about to issue a crypto token designed to maintain parity with the national currency.
the Brazilian National Social Development Bank will launch a pilot in January 2019 for the BNDES token, which runs on the ethereum blockchain.

https://www.coindesk.com/this-brazilian-bank-is-using-ethereum-to-issue-a-stablecoin

your opinion Smiley
I think that in itself, this event is unlikely to greatly affect the cost of ethereum. But in 2019, ethereum will have an important update of the platform and, in combination with all the positive news and events, will certainly have a positive impact on the cost of ethereum. Of course, provided that the ethereum team will not change the stated dates.
