There's a saying that  nothing on the Internet is safe, thus has been one of my philosophy and will always reminds myself to be more careful while surfing the Internet of a thing. So, saving anything online looks dangerous and shouldn't be use by cryptocurrency holders because of hacks. Personally, am not using a hardware wallet but have a cold storage for my stash and have been safe on the Internet. Don't click everything you sew as a link sent to you or come across.

Re: Has Blockchain Technology revolution is successful or not?
by

If you say is succesfull or not i think its success but not yet successfull, its needed more adoption in real case and real use, this revolution on financial technology need more time and effort not only hype and bubble on cryptocurrency.

You're correct, the reasons why global adoption has not taken place is the fear of hype and bubbles which has been in display on the side of cryptocurrency. This has scared many other  potentials projects from integrating their projects into the technology, although many are yet to accept the facts that this technology is transparency driving and can give more accurate profile to its bearers. In my judgement, this technology is a success in transit, let's wait for global explosion.

Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies.

Last week, I found an airdrop project in Telegram called Macro Protocol......................
I just checked on the telegram and browsed about Macro Protocol, but couldn't find the information. Am I missing something? The channel or website? If there is clear information, maybe we can analyze the project first before deciding that it is a scam or not. But, if there is a very lack of information, it seems strange and probably belongs to "scam".
Marcopolo Protocol is right. And the airdrop program has been running for a long time.
I found Bitcoin Launchpad news on Marcopay local channel, it's a strategy, we don't know the end, let's see.

Found them on Bitcoin launchpad news has nothing to show that they are legit going about their offers of 50% discount. Even looking at their social media accounts seem they're trying to get more likes to achieve their hidden agenda. Any project  that's truly trustworthy in this industry will not buy fakes likes on their social medias. Although am not against the project but the approach to make it hype, as hype in this industry will always lead a project to be called a scam project.

Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH

Someone with that amount of Bitcoin? There is no way they would store on their mobile phone in an exchange or on a samsung phone. This has to be fake. How on earth could a whale let this happen in such a hacker driven environment around the space? I don't believe this.

You have a point though, but, nobody can tell what exactly happened to him as such amount shouldn't have be kept into online wallet. The victim might be those who haven't interested in the knowing of this technology but rather love to associate with the investment involved.

the title says crypto whale . whale means expert on this field so i dont believe that he arent aware of the risk plus not only him but many pro and big hodlers do also got hacked no matter how they secure thier accounts . thats only an evidence that hackers are smarter  than the users of the wallet and exchanges because they know how to bypass any security without us knowing it and they mainly target big people because me i havent been hacked yet luckily as im also a small time cryptoer

You have misinterpreted my opinions, whales are expert but yet was using the same device which he or she use to surf through the internet to store his or.portfolios. known fully well that; any device use to surf the internet is not safe but prone to hacks. Believed me, that victim have no interest on knowing the technology but derived pleasure in what he or she can gain through the technology. Its a lesson for others who thought the technology is just about earnings. In yge first place, why not such huge amount of funds store in a ledger which cost $75 instead of storing them on the  same device used to surf the internet. Believed me, he's learning the lesson against the future.

Re: Unfinished Projects

Although my surprise still borders on those investors who don't research into projects themselves before they invest into some projects. Many projects out there are created to scam good investor's who can't read in between project White papers and reality. Falling into one of these scams project tell much on such victims. Am a type who don't invest on any how projects because I wanted to invest. Let's put up research mood before we invest.

actually, there are seemingly great projects out there that you can't distinguish the fact that they are just here as a fraud and money grab scheme. scammers are getting good in screwing crypto users. Even some projects with faces, they still managed to duped users. because running after them is deemed to be futile as sometimes they are registered to the country that has very loose regulations when it comes to crypto. So one thing you can do, is just accept the fact that you lost and never invest again on these crypto projects.

Definitely we'll know how smart these scammers have turned to be in recent times. But my submission is: those investors should ensure to do their own research before proceeds to invest into these projects, knowing the project real world case use, carefully looking into their roadmap and among all; their terms and conditions among others. I was once cut from from the beginning but have learnt my humble lesson and woul not see how.possible I will fall for these scammers again. Above all, no matter how smart these scammers are, they still have their weaker points which can be spot out if only we're good in research before proceeds to invest.

We must learn many things about security in thus regards, the amount of funds are too much to keep online. As you're investing in your portfolios ensure to invest in your knowledge too.

Holding altcoins for a longer term is disastrous, many have lose their wealth on altcoins. Although am not a good investor of altcoins, but have invested much in some altcoins which later landed me in loose. Am now very caution of how long I have to hold my altcoins before sell. This singular act have ruin a friend life in 2017. He invested in one project then hoped that it profit yield positive, but the rivers was the case as he run at lost. I don't hodl altcoins on a long-term.

This is good advice because lots of people don't know the difference between a legitimate proposal and a scam, but generally if it sounds too good to be true, that's because it probably is so make sure you stay away from these types of offers
But becauase the channel has a lot of  followers they will think this is legitimate and that's the problem even its too good to be true there still people greedy to try it and they will only realise that its scam once the eth send to the provided address.

Although personally I wouldn't think I will fall for such scam due to the fact that, the channel had many followers. But we should also know that, account hacks are rapid these days and should be more careful than ever. One time in the history of humans race, one most popular YouTube account was hacked and many gullible were scammed, this I will always remember. We should always lean to research into offers before we venture into it.

The one question I ask myself right now is, if I have up to 1 BTC will I ever send it out to get it doubled? I never worked for it, this is not trading, it will be first thing that will come to my mind, greediness in people is what makes them fall for all this crap schemes

Correct, many have been found victim of this trend and its caused by greediness which us a human nature.  Whenever I see many of such promise, I tell myself that,  how do they relate this with their own mindset, that, you send 1bitcoin and get 2bitcoin: you don't trade with this money to say profit is involve, so, those greedy humans can always fall for this type of scams around this industry. I say never you send anything to get double of what you set: its arrant scams and should be avoided.

I will like to say the market is unpredictable and according to some speculations from other quarters, Bitcoin will make a longer move this time than before, during the halve. We have to wait till then before we can conclude. My advice to you is, don't ever invest what you are not ready to lose because the market is volatile. Your company assets should be more precious to you, invest in your discretion to avoid unnecessary complains.

Lesson for Sun J. Never you pay to get someone attention, they should be allow to consider their ways over and over again.

What happens to BNB coin after 5 years? Because then you get no discount anymore? Then what is the purpose of BNB anymore?
Maybe you know the beginning from the end and you're in position to give concrete answer to this. That aside, nobody will or can tell what will be the result of BNB in 5 years to come. Frankly speaking, BNB will be great when it get to 5 years and above, seeing what the teams are building with. They're the best exchange from the now and still growing their network, I believe in BNB future.
