Re: == Bitcoin challenge transaction: ~1000 BTC total bounty to solvers! ==UPDATED==

Has anyone cracked the 256 key?
Nobody. The initial idea of the puzzle was to include a prize on each range, but after a few years the creator transferred the funds from addresses 161-256 to the remaining unsolved addresses from 160 downwards, making the prizes more appealing. I think that because we won't even find that 160 in our lifetime :-)

Due to the fact that a lot has changed in the topic recently - for fun I decided to read what you are writing about IN THIS TOPIC, but in order not to waste too much time - I started from page 300 of this topic and:
COBRAS - I won't address the whining gibberish of this idiot because it's a waste of space here. Man, do something useful... go pick up trash in the forest or go clean up in church, because you'll contribute more there than here, spouting nonsense in every post. In relation to everything this trash posts, I can say that he knows more about me than I do about myself :-) And even more about this challenge. Write a code in Python to get your brain in order, but start with the line that creates it... apart from the COBRAS mental disability - for your satisfaction I state referring to individual posts:

hi i think this is user zielar https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1020539 taking 120 125 130 he works in a company where there are many gpus i think the company doesn't know that he is using their equipment

Companies that use a large number of GPUs, especially at the scale of 20,000 or more

1.Google
2.Amazon (AWS)
3.NVIDIA
4.Meta (Facebook)
5.Tesla: Tesla Dojo
6.Cryptocurrency Mining Farms

In which company do you think it is possible to solve puzzle 130 unnoticed from the list above?  Grin

Do you still have doubts that it wasn't this person who decided https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1306983.msg51803085#msg51803085

That's right. At that time I had the opportunity and permission to use very large computing power at that time... The company knew about it - otherwise I wouldn't brag about it. That power is a grain in the sand today... None of the companies mentioned are correct :-)

With  8x Tesla A100 ? I have 6 in my lab. I haven't found anything so far. It's not just about the GPUs here.
Something else is happening here.

Maybe he/she is just a brilliant mind...and that person knows a way to reuse the DPs from 120,125 to find 130 and the rest.

I would like to know how he/she did it !

As far as I know - such a possibility has always existed :-) However, I do not have a perfect mind to use it... especially since I have no progress in those ranges. I have a set from the 115 range, so if someone wants - I am open to suggestions.

120, 125 and 130.
captured by hacker ? because this address is 1DiegoU6ETJXK9hNWVTeuK4Y8fkksPnEnK seem fishy with 3Emiwzxme7Mrj4d89uqohXNncnRM15YESs
and he's announce this "https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/transactions/btc/69888f5e55d414b8de65f3a9307a1f414d7035cf9142239045300ce018984bd4"

the next target to take and spend.

      "value": 1231,
      "spent": false,
      "spender": null
    },

it's 67, anyone who can find even 67, the transactions will be attacked by this person.

ngl, this guy very smart and genius build the transaction and from the number of transactions increasing slowly and rhythmically.

You are right about the attack. However about 3Emi, I do not think so, that transaction you shared does not belong to 3Emi, it belongs to a lamer, a noob, a very beginner who does not know anything.

And for you guys, I shared in older posts a script where you can immediately move BTC from one wallet to another. Use those kind of proper and reliable script to move when you solve any puzzle. Also, move whole balance all in once, because while waiting small amount of transfer to be moved (testing if btc is going), hackers start slowing and solves the private key from the exposed public key in 4-5 minutes for the small numbers like the puzzle #67.

And that's what I was writing about. This challenge ended when I made public the solution to puzzle #115. Later "additional payments" of a few BTC to the address and "nobody's" solutions not made public are a different game... The game is about who will rob whom and how... and why in the first place? That's why I approach the topic with a great deal of distance, because in the perspective of time - facts and time have shown that TODAY no one will honestly get rich on this game just by trying to find a solution.

Damn!!! whoever the solver of 130 bit is. is genius..!!!

Of course, that is JLP himself, but apparently not with the GitHub version of Kangaroo 2.2.
This is version 8.0 at least.  Grin

How do you know it is JLP ?

Because when it comes to solving 130-bit, even the Kangaroo needs a turbo boost... and JLP's got the keys to the garage!  Tongue

I know from JLP himself that he is not working on this project because he simply does not have time for it. His profession is closely related to some exact science and is a really serious profession, and such a side project used to be an element of training in light of what he does professionally. I do not think that this will change in the long run, especially since #115 when I tried to take on #120 - then he had much less time and contact was very difficult due to lack of time. I do not think that he read it at all or that anything about this challenge interests him at the moment, although it may have changed, because I last wrote to him a year ago. Certainly all of the above -> excludes JLP as having found the solution using his "improved" work... and I am certainly convinced that if it were completely the other way around -> he would have made the solution known to us.

Maybe you all remember
When puzzle 64 and 120 found right after puzzle listed prices fill up with high amount
6.6 from 0.6
13 from 1.3

Do you all think maybe this time puzzle 66 and 130 found same old 64 and 120
And price may be goesmore up like

Example
67 from 6.7
135 from 13.5

Wait and see or ask puzzle Creator for more updates
 Grin

Believe me or not - but I've been thinking about it for two days Cheesy And I suspect that this will happen for two reasons:
Logical - because the facts known to us today show how difficult this achievement is and it will have the task of stopping and encouraging those who have doubted to act, and it will contribute a lot
Obvious - because we will never know the finder and the method, and the funds will be officially "stolen" by a person who has nothing to do with finding a solution, because they either knew it from the beginning or they will prey on someone who will do it for them.

Current solver(s) just don't care about this thread. They have many, many GPUs and just take the BTC as a little bonus. Maybe they are criminal hackers.
Thanks to french idiot JLP for giving the sourcecode for free to all them.

Might be some chinese or north korean guys. Some place where energy costs nothing or maybe every GPU is hacked.

It is very unlikely that there is a new algorithm to solve the ECDLP. Else we might expect more frequent solves and maybe a new scientific paper.
It is game over for normal guys if you not find a real new approach to cracking the ECDLP.

Zielar had access to many GPUs but I doubt he had access to that many. But he might have solved it somehow anyway. He is a very greedy/selfish person who never gave anything back to JLP, brichard19 or others.

Another scumbag who is coming after me because he is sad that I succeeded in and have a big part in this challenge. If you don't know, don't give a damn!
1. The last solution I found with JLP is #115

2. JLP refused to accept compensation for a joint achievement... Then he said that if I wanted to take on #120 and he would find time to help me with it - then he would agree.
3. Don't cry.... it won't lead to any benefit for you. No one will give you anything to wipe your tears every time you cry... just like I have no obligation to give money to everyone I see around me. Following your train of thought, choosing your wrong criterion for assessing my person online -> a cleaner in the yard should I donate for not walking around dirty, support BMW with a donation because their car allows me to move around mobile, and also support MICROSOFT because thanks to them you can see on the screen what I type on the keyboard?
And what.. are you bald?

I have more and more doubts that some geniuses are solving the puzzle. In my opinion, starting from the 120bit solution, the creator does all this. To keep the interest in his mystery alive. If you compare the sequence of events (dates of decisions, increase in the prize), then everything adds up to a logical picture. Now it is more profitable to use computing power for the inference of neural networks, for their training, rather than for searching for a needle in a haystack with an unknown result. And here you need very large computing power, which will cost a lot to rent.

Honestly, I don't think it was the creator who withdrew the funds. Someone who over the years didn't stop the challenge despite having the private keys - he could have withdrawn them with multi-million profits, and instead deposited dozens of BTC to each address shows that the creator is a person who sleeps on cash and is like oxygen to him - obviously he is and that he will never take it away. So I don't think that someone stopped achieving the ultimate goal of creating this challenge by fawning over change... especially since finding 120,125,130 does not bring anything positive in the perspective of the entire challenge... especially since we don't know of any solutions that he could skillfully announce while making progress towards achieving the goal.
I think the finder is someone who reads us here, but does not share the results or methods of action, because so far she has successfully gained $2 million on it using her excellent method of breaking subsequent thresholds. In other words - for safety's sake she is silent, because she simply -> plans to top up those $2 million with subsequent levels. If we live to see #160, there is a chance that we will learn the solutions.

I've been saying this for a long time, but people keep rushing blindly, like a donkey chasing a carrot! Puzzles 120, 125, 130 have all been emptied by the creator, and possibly Puzzle 66 as well, intercepted by him to cover his tracks. Puzzle 66 was broadcast just moments before the next block was mined.

#64 and #66 - these levels are no longer related to anything that requires research and technology. These levels and their solutions are the result of robbing people of their computing power by assuring them of sharing the profits if a solution is found. In both cases, this sharing did not happen, because no one admitted to finding a solution, despite the fact that the pool achieved significant effects. The only thing that connects low thresholds with high ones is that no one admitted to finding a solution, and the difference is that there is no goal in this - because using a kangaroo for low thresholds is comparable to flushing a toilet or having a brain by COBRAS... that's why we know these solutions. The lack of a lucky person shows that the thief simply did not intend to share the profit from the stolen power, because as we know, he did not have to... after all, everyone gave it to him, believing on their word of honor that if we find it, we would share it Wink

----
O.M.G. 10 forum pages, a few references and two hours in the ass Tongue That's enough.

IN SUM:
I am also not the finder of any solution since finding 115 with JeanLucPons. I would like to point out that all successes with the included private key and description of the method of finding were made available to you on the same day it happened, while all solutions later than the one achieved when we found 115 were not made public, which indicates that we are dealing with theft, fraud and scheming of the RBC type or open theft of power by creating fictitious pools.

Greetings to all (excluding COBRAS, because it's no one and not everyone Cool Tongue)

***UNKNOWN*** Please finder to send solution by PM anonyumously

I don't know if such person/people is reading us but...

A clever way to disclose the private key is the next:

Take all the inputs to your address but leave some dust input behind (all those wallets has always some dust inputs)
Then once that you cleared all the balances in all chains except one dust, make a special TX where you manually chose a repeated Nonce value or one with some difference small to be solvable with some math.
Broadcast that TX and someone should notice that repeated or weak R value and the key should be solved easily.

Higher school of driving :-D but as one of the few I have to admit that you contribute a lot of valuable issues to the topic. I haven't been here for some time because occasionally somewhere on the side I "cooperated" with ttd with free funds. Somewhere there, at the beginning at pool 64 I had concerns as to whether the creation of this pool was really for the purpose of "mutual benefit", but later I dispelled my concerns due to good contact with the owner. It became distasteful when, convinced by the recent successes of pool 66, I was focused on part of the prize - I finally dispelled my concerns in a negative way. Once again, someone has developed a twice as difficult range with positive results - and once again no one has flaunted it either before or after finding a solution... Well, yes - the simplest. Who is going to prove anything to whom when the results of the work have always been sent to the server. All you have to do is receive the key, withdraw it and announce that someone from outside has done it, right? Besides, tell me honestly - do you think that anyone ALONE is trying to break larger and larger ranges?? since even for me level 64 already seems so high that I gave up. And here you go - the last two low-level levels (for which pools were created) - the finder of the key unknown and the pool is not the finder...? And for credibility, it was enough to create some newbie account and post with the key and it would immediately look different... besides, for a profit of a million dollars - during these two years I would be able to develop even this account well and come up with a good story about how I got to this key)... but oh well... not every person acts the same. Personally, I completely give up on this type of "cooperation" and I strongly advise against it to others.. It's a waste of your money to pump it into others. If you think otherwise - you can deposit it into my wallet without deluding yourself that you will gain anything except my gratitude:
=============

============
To be honest - what pissed me off was not even that I was disappointed in my opinion, but that despite spending free funds on some contribution to a previously trusted pool - in the end it turned out that I spent $4,000 on the scale of the entire contribution, so not a small amount. I know that there are those who spent much more and I sympathize with you very much. I know that life will return it to you in a double positive form. As I promoted earlier - I currently RECOMMEND NOT cooperating with you in any projects related to this challenge, because as statistics have shown - since I found with JLP and published solutions to the found ranges - each subsequent level has been discovered by an UNKNOWN PERSON in an UNKNOWN WAY... the solution is UNKNOWN for most, and the costs and requirements are much greater. There is no point in hiding - this challenge has already become only a matrix for creating the perfect idea for how to get rich by walking over dead bodies... and with today's technology - the chances are slim... and this was probably also the idea of the creator, who paid so much BTC additionally to wallets. The entered phrase with a request to send the solution to PM is the only thing I can do to be able to learn the solutions... at least for statistical purposes... because this is probably the MAX of what you can be happy about today in the subject of this challenge.

Hello, I noticed something.

66. Wallet transfer time: 9/13/2024, 01:59:39
Your message: 09/13/2024, 01:57:12

I guess you found the wallet?
Why haven't you had any messages since you became a member in January 2024?
It's very interesting, I was curious about your hardware and what software did you use? (Unless you're the creator, of course?)

I wish it was me but unfortunately not. I was part of the 66bit pool trying to find the key but we lost it. The hex private key was posted in telegram. All I did was input the hex key into a python script that spits out all the address info.
I am more of a reader than writer so I never posted before.

I don't think we lost it, but we got screwed over. Another pool and another unknown finder of the key who didn't brag about the win personally. I think both 66 and 64 were solved by TTD.

I advise you not to get involved in anything group-based in the future that is supposed to bring financial benefits and that over the internet, because you know... they will screw you over again. They certainly won't screw me. I congratulate those who made withdrawals through trickery on their ingenuity... and I hope it works out for you and affects your families.

It's fake and unusuable.
Real key for #75 is 4c5ce114686a1336e07 so it totally other side than predicted 6e109e699439a400000

Wow, look what I found!  I found it using my phone, I also have another one on laptop.

Imagine my face when I realized they are both different keys.🤣

And what? What success have you achieved?

OK you're right. A massacre like this blockchain.com is going to the dogs. The graphic design is getting worse, the information is getting less and less... soon you won't even be able to see balance of any wallet :-)

Strange thing. Just as strange is the history of the address from which the incoming payment comes. Check the last page (third) of the transaction history... it starts with an outgoing transaction. How in the world was BTC sent from an address to which there was no incoming transaction before?

-snip-
2023-04-16 - The creator of the challenge paid rounded amounts of BTC to the remaining unguessed addresses - thus increasing the value of the prizes by a total of over 900 BTC. From this moment, for example - the reward value for address 66 is not 0.66BTC but 6.6BTC
-snip-

How do you know the source of the latest 900 btc and say that it was made by the creator? The transaction potentially could lead to the stolen funds...  Huh

Puzzles are an interesting form of challenge from the very beginning. In the meantime, the prize pool has already been increased once... so I don't think anyone stole over 900 btc this time and donated it to raise the prize pool. It is not the purpose of spreading propaganda, but honest information about what is happening in this challenge. If you don't like it, then go elsewhere and don't come up with this nonsense.

Hello,

Due to the situation that happened in this challenge - I allowed myself to refresh the topic - I corrected the name of the thread, added a new date to "important dates", changed the image of the remaining amount of BTC up for grabs, and restored the functioning of my website zielar.pl from which you can now restart download the VanitySearch builds, because I saw somewhere earlier that someone mentioned that the links are out of date. It's a fact - they were outdated because I didn't extend the hosting :-) Nevertheless, everything is fine now. I'm also considering re-entering with some power... therefore, to shorten the necessary time to refresh the news about currently running programs - give me the details of any latest and greatest versions you are currently using (VanitySearch, Kangaroo) - and whether poolem 66bit also works pool fighting for 125?

Regards
My man! Thanks for updating and refreshing the topics and links!

I am running a kangaroo pool/server and have posted to see the interest in the community (before posting and giving out IP and port) but there have only been two people interested.

I have locked up agreements from gpu farms. I will have (so far) 480 cards connecting to the pool BUT for only 20-25 minutes each day. In the agreement I have to pay for storage space so that I can save and keep each card's kangaroos (paths). I am currently trying to work out additional agreements. I also have 72 cards that are constantly running in the pool. All are RTX 30xx and above; 30xx. I would love to have many CPUs running in the race as well as their paths (although less paths) become much longer than a GPUs path.

Current progress = 2^19.06/2^27.05

Could i join to your work? Please send me PM to more details. I can use 8x Tesla A100 to work for this task per 1-2 months

I'm currently checking apps that I haven't checked before... and that's how I found PubHunt. I entered the 29 closest unresolved addresses without pubkey in the input... This way I achieve a scan of 6400Gkeys/s . What are the estimates that a pubkeys lookup for 29 addresses with this method and this program at this speed will yield the intended expectations more than a traditional key lookup? What are the real chances of success and effectiveness of this method?

Puzzle 120 solver, definatly very well know about these threads, related developments, bitcrack, kangaroo, vantisearch, keyhunt, bsgs etc,
options are for puzzle 64 and 120, solver never post prvkeys,
maybe puzzle creator  ... just for make puzzle live, as no new development, group based attempts by developer, gpu farmers, and individual attempts by useing other develop apps,
reason, puzzle 120 pickup to new address, and no used,
in past every solved puzzle's were cash out by thier solver, for their needs, if they are developer, finder, coder, etc, every one need money, upon they find, they cashout, put puzzle 120 solver too easy, not picked up fork's, and nor cashout, simple transfer to an other address and waiting, what people try new things,
and here threads once asked prvkey, and no more talks, seems every one no more interest, due to silence from solver

Good for us crackers for the puzzle  situation to be more discrete and dormant ..business 101:  lower competitio equals higher chance of success.

Say if only one cracker is attempting to find puzzle 66, the outcome is he will obviously be the one to solve it.

I'm not sure if it was the puzzle creator who withdrew the money, and i don't vote fot it. Leaving the puzzle to be normally solved by other crackers should be his goal from the beginning. After all, he wanted to test the security of BTC. Having such small bit ranges unsolved for as long as it takes shows him exactly how powerful the Bitcoin hash and curve are. Solving 120 early would defeat the purpose.

this kind of action makes no sense. The fact of not making the key public and thus creating a riddle from a riddle only makes the whole game meaningless by the fact that there was a solved level whose solution we do not know, as well as the reason why.

I wonder, why #120 private key is not revealed, chop chop who ever you are, don't keep us waiting.😉

He don't have to release the private key publicly. Maybe he even doesn't know about this thread.

I'm more curious why he didn't took forked coins. There is still BSV, BCH and BTG there (and maybe few others).

If he didn't know about the existence of this thread - he wouldn't know about the existence of this challenge :-)

Hi @zielar, nice to see you here

2. Someone has a tool to find #125 soon

As we know the puzzle 125 is 32 times bigger than puzzle 120 but prize is only a 4% bigger, i doubt about that such "magic" tool exists. But we don't have way to know.

If that exists it should be a mathematical approach.

Nice to see you too :-)
Despite the passage of time and the fact that people who are more active in the subject know each other only from here - there is a smile on your face knowing that everything is fine with you :-)
It is also certain that no matter how much time passes - the solution of the next thresholds will certainly take place, whether it is due to the fact that the technology will develop further or because the value of assets, despite being only 4% more - will be much higher in terms of physical currency than today. Time will tell. I also believe that we will get to know the finder of solution 120 and how he did it, how much time he needed for it, or at least the private key to complete the list of keys of solved addresses. Greetings!

It is a real shame that the solver of #120 still didn't give us the private key.
Dude, if you're out there, please find a way to communicate it

There are various reasons why we still don't have the key:
1. The finder wishes to remain anonymous
2. Someone has a tool to find #125 soon
3. The withdrawal was made by someone outside the forum
4. Someone has some other purpose in it, so as not to reveal themselves.

It is certainly puzzling that BCH and BTG have not been paid out from this wallet so far, while the payment was made to the address without any other transaction before, nor was it sent further - which also raises the suspicion that the finder could use some tool that worked for a long time -> found the right key and made the withdrawal, but the initiator himself still does not know that he found solution #120. A lot of unknowns, but I believe that eventually someone will somehow provide a solution, because the solution #120 without indicating the key to the public will simply be a blow to the whole history of these puzzles.
