Yes, it is allowed to be placed in the signature. However, do take note that signatures may not offer a very high hit rate, and the rates for signatures are very competitive out there. Noted. Thanks for your reply. Yeah I would give it a trial run of 1-2 weeks and then decide whether to continue based on the results. I expect a low hit rate generally, I just need to see if I can optimize it enough by targeting certain sections (Speculation, Trading Discussion, etc).

It's not allowed afaik but you can put the link under your signature while your promoting the site your affiliated to. You could hire a signature campaign manager to promote the site and force users who apply to use your affiliate link as they post. Read these guidlines first and make sure to hire a good manager if you're planning to start a sig campaign.Or is it bad etiquette, since I am not connected to the site's ownership?

The campaign is in its last week with only a few days left. Hopefully it'll continue, but that might be why new applicants aren't being accepted anymore.
