Thanks for the updated details:
1) I would actually recommend a reboot of this remote computer to begin with. In case there are pending Windows Updates to be installed on next reboot, these can prevent other installers from running correctly.
If this didn't solve the problem, please uninstall Remote Agent manually and then install it again using the links above.

2) Right now the log file will only contain the latest log of the most recently started Claymore process. Once you start the process the next time it will clear the log. This behavior cannot be changed in Awesome Miner right now.

1) If the automatic update fail you can try to manually use the link above to upgrade. If it still doesn't work because of the uninstallation process, you can force the uninstallation using this tool from Microsoft:

2) If you run Claymore miner with Administrator privileges, Awesome Miner should still be able to show the log on the Console tab. The log file is also written to the file 'console_output.txt' located in the same folder as the Claymore software.

To get access to development versions, open the Options dialog in Awesome Miner. In the General section, enable Check for development versions. Then go to the Menu and click Check for updates.

You can use Clocking Groups where you define that cards matching "1080" should have one profile and cards matching "2080" should have another profile. You can create the Clocking Groups in the Options dialog, GPU Clocking Profiles section. For more details, see also:

I will also try to improve the GPU mapping and hopefully do it more automatic in the future. If you use nVidia - one way to get more predicatble order between different mining software is to enable the setting "Force nVidia CUDA mining software to order devices by PCI Bus ID" in the Options dialog, GPU Settings dialog.

Install latest drivers or use files from "cuda8" folder (redownload v14.2 if you don't have this folder).

A note about the latest nVidia GPU drivers (430.39). With this new driver version, nVidia doesn't allow applications to set Power Limit and Temperature Limit unless you are running your process (Awesome Miner or Remote Agent) as Administrator. All other clocking operations works fine without being Administrator - just like before.

I will investigate this in more detail to find a more user friendly solution.

My recommendation would be to wait with upgrading the nVidia drivers if you set any of these two properties using the Native Overclocking feature in Awesome Miner.

Thanks for your question. In general the templates are the fastest way to apply settings to a miner, if the goal is to have a specific pool, mining software, clocking and so on.

This is at least the scenario for Managed Miners where you select what to mine yourself.

In case you are running profit switching (Managed Profit Miners), you can right click on a miner and select Edit Profile Profile to configure mining software to use, clocking per algorithm and so on. Pools for the profit switcher is either defined per profit profile or globally in the Options dialog, Profit Switching section.

In 1bash set x16r miner to T_Rex

If you want to use same image and dont want to flash/write new SSD, create NVOC folder, clone release branch, make a copy of 1bash.template, save it as 1bash and edit it.


Use gedit or nano to edit your new 1bash

Run nvOC upgrade to make the changes for the latest miners
