Φίλε μου φοιτητής είσαι? Μεταπτυχιακός? Τόσα χρόνια ασοεε πρώτη φορά ακούω τέτοια προσπάθεια(όχι ότι περίμενα να ενημερωθώ από τα κλαρινογκρουπάκια μας στο fb αλλά OK)
Προπτυχιακός, ωστόσο συμμετέχω σε ερευνητική ομάδα αρκετά χρόνια.
Πράγματι γίνεται μια σοβαρή προσπάθεια, για να διαδοθεί στην αρχή από το fb.

Ξεκινώ αυτό το θέμα με αφορμή μια προσπάθεια που γίνεται στο Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών για να φέρει κοντά άτομα από την ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα που ενδιαφέρονται για το χώρο των cryptocurrencies.
Στα πλαίσια της συγκεκριμένης προσπάθειας, θα θέλαμε να ενημερώσουμε την Ελληνική κοινότητα για την προσπάθεια μας και παράλληλα να εξετάσουμε το ενδεχόμενο ύπαρξης άλλων ατόμων του χώρου (από Πανεπιστήμια και ΤΕΙ) που θα τους ενδιέφερε η συγκεκριμένη δραστηριότητα.

Just did a little test, removed it and put it back on and it made things more stable in regards to the actual speed and avg speed. Probably wont matter too much to be honest.

1) How can i mine?
2) I use cgminer. Can i mine DMD using it?
3) How can i start the miner? What settings should i use?
Except from FAQs, i need answers for the questions above.

If you are compiling the daemon, change a line in the makefile.unix file:
hash/groestl.o \
EDIT: ...and add:
obj/hash.o \
EDIT2: In the latest version, Dev removed the "src/hash" directory, and moved groestl files in the main src directory,
Still add the hash.o above, and rename the directory "obj-test" to "obj"

Many times i was silent, due to high workload. However, all of us believe that DMD community should contribute to our team work.
We have already planned the future steps of DMD, so the first of them is our official dedicated forum, as popshot already said.
Many people occasionally send me personal messages about DMD, so we understand that a new dedicated forum is more than necessary and important.
We will discuss in detail our needs and the next DMD steps soon through our brand-new discussion board.

The teams behind the two coins are not the same, its just that the coins share lots of common characteristics (e.g. PoS), so some code is shared and, of course, developments in one coin can easily be migrated to the other.

Fixed. Thank you and sorry. This was the default value. We changed it to 0.001.
