I think dves means hubs.

You will not lose bytes by changing hubs.  You can change all you want and never worry about losing bytes.

If you change hubs, you risk losing messages (like how private assets (blackbytes)) are sent.
Also, to ensure safety against losing blackbytes to be sent (like from a distribution)(other than simply not playing around by changing hubs), you can talk to the transition bot after you change hubs.

To prevent from losing blackbytes/assets you already have, then simply make full backups (not just a backup from of the seed).


sorry. the dves is not mean hubs, I mean device, if change the device the blackbyte will be lost?

It's end-to-end encrypted using AES.  The hubs only forward the encrypted messages, they can't see anything.  To deliver your message, your wallet connects to the recipient's hub (if it's different from your home hub).

The encryption keys are constantly rotated for perfect forward secrecy.  This has a side effect that if you restore from an old backup or try to use the same wallet on two devices (which rotate the keys independently), the keys get out of sync and your wallet can't decrypt a received message.  This is one of the common reasons for not receiving blackbytes, which are delivered through chat messages.

  is counterparty sutable for ICOS, it is like etherum? eth has smartcontrcat to bulid ERC20 token,but the counterparty has what? smartcontract? the worstest thing at counterparty is the bitcoin net fee,almost ten douller a trascated.

@tonych,byteball is a great coin after bitcoin, the first improtent function,is the decentralized groupchat room,the bot of freebe has achived the no delay chat ,that' s good more than any chat function of blockchain,but the dev of the bot close the chat function , we need a easy build groupchat bot, we realy need say anyting but in realty.

you just kidding! binance just a Cottage exchange , it is all day trading altcoin , many of this altcoin is just some shitcoin ,no innovation just Ponzi scheme ,Sooner or later one day this altcoin goes to zero. none is the okcoin good for byteball.

 hi iota fans , I feel iota's wallet is too simple, but passphrase need 81 capthau too complte, byteball's wallet is easy to use,and have some unqine function, some exchange bot , and the most useful bot is the chatgroup.

we realy need a chatgroup based bu byteball, WeChat payment  is available after WeChat , byteball's mission is not first to link merchant , even if  merchant will accept byteball to be payment way ,but many custom does not have bytes,how to payment with bytes, now the most important objective is to building a community, a no delay,decentrlized,privte chatgrup to be useful,just like tencent.
