Easiest thing would be to put sharpie on the LEDs. Second to that, pop off the SOT23 NFET just off the corner of the microcontroller, nexto the LEDs.

Or if you got a PIC programmer, I can conjure up a version of the firmware that doesn't flash the LED or flashes it only briefly so it's not as intense.

Hey, thanks! I'll try one of the low-tech solutions before I try to get my hands on a PIC programmer.

Your Sharpie idea jogged my memory that I used to tone down the LEDs on the Gekko Compac sticks by putting a blob of black nail polish on them. Would that work on the R606, or would I be risking getting nail polish somewhere I shouldn't?

If you neighbors spend enough time looking at or through your windows to be annoyed with what you do or don't have going on, Id be me more worried about the peeping toms next door. lol.

Haha, it's the price of living in the city. My neighbors' windows are like 6 feet away from mine.

Hey all, I have an R606 and I like it a lot. Right now, though, I can only run it during the day because the bright, blinky LED annoys my neighbors, and I don't have a windowless room in my apartment where I can set it up. (Even with the shades down, it looks like a nightclub in my house. That's a seriously bright LED.)

Has anyone succeeded in disabling, disconnecting, dimming, or covering up the LED, without obstructing airflow? If it weren't for the fans, I'd just put together an enclosure.

I'm in for at least 1 or 2, depending on the price. I'm a longtime fan of your miners.  Smiley

Hello zyzzyva,

It won't have any effect on the previous withdrawals. The blockchain is very slow for now, over 110K unconfirmed transactions : https://blockchain.info/fr/unconfirmed-transactions

You just have to wait. Your money is safe.

Cheers,

Good to know! Thank you!

Thanks, bitcoin revo! I don't think there's a fee, but I'll cover it if there is.

By "not a good trader", I just mean that I'm very new to it and don't seem to be great at identifying trends or coming up with winning strategies. I've mostly been a miner up until recently.

[WTS] C.A.T. Trader Bot license - 0.1 BTC
by
zyzzyva
on 04/05/2017, 13:20:48 UTC
Hi, I've decided to sell my license for Sampey's C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader bot, including a license for the Bittrex premium API. The bot runs on Windows, Linux, and Java, and you can read all about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.0

Why am I selling my license? Well, the bot is extremely advanced and highly customizable, and has the potential to make you a lot of money if you know the market well enough to tune it. However, I've realized that I'm not a very good trader, my understanding of the market isn't great, and I don't feel like I'm making very good use of the bot.

A "new" license goes for 0.2 BTC. I'm asking 0.1 BTC for mine. That's 50% off! If you purchase it, I will PM Sampey and ask him to transfer the license to you; at that point, he will tell you how to download the software and how to register your API key.

Let's use a reputable escrow like FrilledShark or OgNasty unless one of us trusts the other enough to go first.

I've added this request to my todo list Smiley. I can't give a solid ETA now as I have a lot of other work to do ahead of this. I feel like I'll be able to get to it before the end of April.

That would be great! Thank you.

We have an undocumented API to obtain the data that makes up the charts page, if you're interested, PM me and I can show you how it works.

As for an API to any private account data. We don't have such a feature right now, but I could create that if there is enough demand.

Right now it is possible to use what our game client does in its update script, but you'd have to authenticate with user/pass and then use a session cookie.

Thanks! What I'm looking for right now is (my own) private account data. I'm trying to write a script that logs my investment data from various sites over time so I can visualize it later. No big deal for now, but please count my vote for an API to access account data in the future. Smiley

Hey, does Bitvest have an API that would allow me to monitor my investment profit/loss? I searched around a bit for this, and saw some discussion about a general Bitvest API, but couldn't find an actual link.

Thanks!

Just wanted to chime in and vouch for this script. I purchased it a couple of days ago and have already made my money back. The method is slow and steady, and really can be left on autopilot without too much worry. There's no gambling strategy that has a 0% chance of losing your stake, but I feel very safe with this one. Get it while it's still $5!

I guess sometimes you have to do the same thing over and over again to receive results

success, just user error or something...computer  gnomes...

Glad you got it working! Yeah, as leowonderful says, the DU-1s are finicky, about power, cables, drivers, pretty much everything. I had to tinker with them a bit when I originally purchased them, too. They do work well once you get them running, though.

to bad you coulddnt do 25 shipped for one of those x11 miners been wanting to try one of those but im low on btc right now

im currently running a gridseed 5 chip miner , 3 compac's , 3 futurebit moonlanders , along with 2 graphics cards for zcash mining

I'd like to get a bit more for the DU-1s, if I can. They cost 9 DASH each when I bought them, and they don't have much wear on them.

Thanks though, sorry about that!
