I was thinking the same, it looks like an impossible thing to be seen in the near future. To get the same exact number twice in a row has so low chance but I have just got it on other site. At first I cant believe it but it was real that I roll the same number in a row as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/gqdlj9
with above experience, I'm starting to think that the jackpot on PD will be hit sooner as long as the players notice that they hit 77.77 in a row which is the hardest part because they should keep on watching the rolled number.
it can only be hit once in 10 bil rolls ,besides it has a 100k minimal bet requirement
and you have to hawk the screen since it is a no automatic jackpot
there is a very high chance you miss it
so I'd say yeah,PD got 16 bil rolls,roughly in 5 years,roughly
if you hit 77.77 twice in a row once every 10 billions bets or so and the majority of bets are way below 100.000 margin,lets say people register 1 in 4 results
you will have to roll around 40 bil bets before anyone claims the jackpot
3 billion rolls per year,40/3=13 years on average give or take
but this a very good marketing tool,110 bitcoins jackpot makes you salivate alot

What is the method for determining the winner in the lottery. And is there any limitation for the participants to participate their entry since the prize pool are cap to 0.5BTC??
I think every answer to your question can be seen in the Home and Lottery tab on the spreadsheet.
After the giveaway ends, 3 bet will be made with the seed shown in the spreadsheet, and numbers will be derived from that like in the example in the spreadsheet.

would mean lottery: 8,2,7
ALL 3 NUMBERS MATCH 60%
ANY 2 NUMBERS MATCH 30%
ANY 1 NUMBER MATCHES 10%
NO NUMBER MATCHES 0%
If no one has 3 match, then the pool of that goes to the 2 match, and will be split amongst the winner tickets.
For example: there are 6 tickets with 2 matches, and no tickets with 3 match, then (60%+30%)/6 would be the prize for one ticket with 2 matches. If those 6 tickets are from one user, then he gets all of it. If 6 user has 1-1 tickets then 6 user will get it and so on. Please read the lottery tab carefully, it should be clear from that.
Limitation as you can see, is the 0.5 BTC: "Every 1 participant adds 0.0005 BTC to the Lottery Prize Pool." And you can have one ticket per every 25 points, that is the only limit.

Btw, I found an issue with the giveaway calculator. It appears that the original tab was duplicated since it was copy protected, but for some reason section c) isnt being factored into the numbers. It seems to be using the first palindrome hunt id #'s rather than the more recent ID numbers. Because of this, the calculations are off for people who are getting in on this early. Can you guys fix the calculator for us? Thank you!
Thanks for letting us know! The first row contained the correct values but the remaining ones were not corrected before. Now it is fixed and hopefully it wont happen again.

Is the bets in the part 1 is the same as the bet id in the part 2?
In part I there are no bets. Part I will end when we reach bet ID 18,990,000,000. And Part II is to hit as close to 19,000,000,000 as possible.
