If you buy EOS through an exchange like Kraken do you have to keep there until the ICO is over like 11 months from now? Or can you transfer it to a wallet off the exchange?
Currently you are buying an ERC20 token which you can send to an ethereum wallet. The token will be swapped for the actual EOS coin once the software is finished at the end of the ICO. So yes you can buy on Kraken or Bitfinex and send the EOS ERC20 token wherever you want to right now.

I invested in the ICO to support this project after seeing the ability and quality of work done by asphyxia on previous projects. I do not plan on leaving any time soon, over the coming months and years I see nothing but positive developments and more widespread visibility and use. Unlike most cryptos, Atmos already has a working product and real-world use. I enjoy watching movies on the site and they aren't on netflix or amazon or anywhere. LBC is similar but inferior IMO and has over 10x the marketcap of ATMS. Soo... what's not to love?

Hi harold, I would like to buy 40000 for 1 BTC from you... makes me kind of sick to my stomach doing it, and I certainly do wish I hadn't missed the IPO. But this looks like much more promising than ETH in fact and even at 25x ICO I suppose it might not be that unreasonable. Congrats on your early investment, you must be quite happy! I would have gone pretty big with this one if I'd seen it while it was in ICO.

Let's analyze the price of IOTA:
AA/ 25 X IPO price is not something crazy in crypto world, ethereum currently X 70 / NXT was X 1000 / Bitcoin itself got value X 10.000 and more since 1st trades thought there was no IPO as everybody knows.
BB/ even at 25C IPO price market cap is around 12-13 millions $ which is not THAT huge and crazy for crypto, thought it become important.
CC/ IOTA could solve scalability problem / quantum resistant issue (if you follow science news, you can see that issue is growing day after day), it is 1st mover into IOT payment as crypto and can work with other blockchain like ethereum (not competitor but more as partner), this is why I invested a little bit in IOTA as it seemed something really needed in crypto world.
DD/Why did I invest only a little bit as it is sooo good? Because I was a bit affraid of the possibility to really do this coin as it is promised, however now IOTA is on AZURE so a partnership with microsoft means according to me that the technology behind IOTA is working, THIS CHANGE TOTALLY the value of the coin. If I knew that I would have invested much more like most of the people I guess.

That being said, if someone wants to sell for a reasonable price of 5-10x what they paid for this a few months ago, PM me. I'll buy some. No way in hell am I paying 25x ICO before it even gets on an exchange, and the rest of you better use some judgement.
FCT needs to be taken down off of Yuanbaohui. They don't allow international customers, so arbitrage is impossible, and price on YBH is being suppressed to 35% cheaper than on Polo. Then they send massive amounts over, dump it on polo, and hoard the BTC back to China. They don't give a crap about FCT, it's just a tool for them to hoard more BTC. It needs to get off of that piece of !#$% exchange ASAP.

We know for a fact that our Chinese partners require FCT for their own testing purposes and in the future to run their systems of records.
What you are saying is your own opinion and should be treated as such. We do not promote speculation of FCT we have always been clear what FCT are used for but on the other end we cannot stop people doing what they want on the free open market which we don't control.

Arbitrage keeps market prices equal, it's a good and necessary thing in trading. And YBH isn't even letting their own customers withdraw FCT, it's the exchange itself doing it. But anyway... this is all just my opinion I don't know if this is really going on or not, and in the long run it's not going to matter. Pretty annoying though

Just wait long enough, eventually we will see another pump like we did see a couple of months ago.
For some reason vertcoin has become a pump & dump coin, investors lost their confidence clearly.
You hold 1/4 the coins at that point.
Lets just say you come out with something that everyone wants, or at least a group of people need, and you only take Vertcoin as payment. And you keep holding the incoming coins. Or lets say you just buy most of the available coins left and keep mining tough with 100+ GPUs, all the while doubling (or more) the hashrate by purchasing a massive amount of power from nicehash. Then you can keep a lot of the created coins and keep buying the inventory. Eventually your only left with holders and those who can only mine a tiny amount of coins for a very high cost and won't sell for cheap anymore.
Imagine if you had a whole group of well funded people doing any the above together.
You could also just inflate the volume on a bunch of exchanges by buying a lot and moving the coins around making a massive pump, but instead of dumping (you cant dump 6 million coins...) you sustain the pump by one of the means listed above.
I've been thinking about offering a ton of bounties to get the attention back on this coin again. Its my favorite coin, I've been mining and buying since almost day one, and I hold a fair share. Its in my best interest and that of many others to bring this coin back into the spotlight. But not until we get all the floating coins for dirt cheap first. No need to start the wave too soon. We have plenty of time.
BTW. With the Vertcoin price being way below the cost to mine its a great time to have a strong accumulation phase right now. I picked up another hundred thousand or two for a few BTC this last week or so. If it goes down lower or stays this low I'm going to keep mining other coins and converting to Vert because I think we can easily go 10X higher than this again given the right push in the future. Me and some friends/contacts have a few plans in the works...
