What industries will blockchain transform?
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 07/04/2018, 04:38:33 UTC
We know how the finance industry, money transfer industry, and banking industry are changing because of blockchain.

SSOT Health is trying to change the healthcare industry by digitizing patient medical records and information. Saving people's medical records and information on the blockchain makes it accessible anywhere, anytime with permission AND 100% secure/verifiable.

What other industries are new projects futurizing with blockchain?

Blockchain Driving Healthcare through this new ICO
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 06/04/2018, 22:51:12 UTC
It's more than 8.5 trillion USD global industry, and it badly needs digitization. Traditional healthcare industry leaders do not want to update the healthcare industry by making patient's medical records securely available at any healthcare facility (with permission) through the blockchain. But right now, an ICO is raising money for a long-term project that can potentially change and futurize the way healthcare is conducted.

It's ANOTHER great way that blockchain and open-source technology is improving our world. Be a part of this profitable blockchain project to help change and save lives; https://www.ssothealth.org/ico

Re: How to Know if Token will be strong in Long-term?
by

Look at their team and their work process, what is their future. IS their company in the future will grow up fast? How they can earn money with their ecosytem and token system. What you can do with Token in future, not simple sell it for profit. Choose what you love  Grin
This advice is pretty good, but it is usually too hard to evaluate the project this way. Most of them have team members with university degrees and/or work experience in the related field. And yet some might turn out to be strong, while others will not manage to control the project. Looking at team's work process is even harder. You can surely look at the roadmap to see their plans as well as keep track on social media accounts to see what they're doing, but again, it is hard to evaluate whether the team is doing enough for the project to become popular.
I know it sound illogical, but imo it is more important to look at whether the project is popular, whether there are many people willing to invest in it, while the actual strength of the project might be deceiving.

I understand your point...But isnt it more important to have strength in the idea and project's potential in the world markets? Because strength in popularity and upfront investment is short-term. Sometimes a good team can turn high investment into lasting profits and business development, but even then the idea and business's purpose needs to be strong

My favorite is definitely the Kora Network Token (KNT) coming up in less than 3 weeks (April 23). Check it out or signup for the ICO main sale here https://kora.network

I agree, a hardware wallet is a good solution for now.

Someone needs to create an easy-to-use multi-crypto wallet that is truly secure...There are a lot of security-centered blockchain projects, somebody create a free, easy-to-use, SECURE wallet app/program for multiple coins/tokens, even if its just for ERC20 tokens

Crypto Hedge Funds Entering the market
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 06/04/2018, 09:31:07 UTC
68 Crypto Hedge Funds currently exist, according to Next.Autonomous.com. New hedge funds in the crypto markets are being created. According to The Financial Times "there has been a rise in newly-developed hedge funds focused exclusively on digital currencies."

Solidus Capital exists in Mexico, Andreessen Horowitz of Silicon Valley is starting one, Mike Novogratz (previous fund manager for Fortress Investment Group) is raising money for the world's largest one yet...

How much will they grow and start manipulating the markets? Many focus on ICOs and new tokens, will they be able to conduct major pump and dumps? Or are these hedge funds just adding to the growth of the crypto markets?

What do you guys think?

However, we can have some guidelines
I agree that there is no single answer, and nobody has the golden answer. What type of guidelines do you think we can make? I really want to know your opinion on it, please be specific as possible. Thank you for your input

Open source code quality and circuit diagram process.
No matter how good the marketing of a project is, you can find everything from the open source.

Very interesting, I've never heard someone say this...

So, check the Github code repository? How do you know if the code is top quality or not? Do you look for weaknesses in the programming to exploit? Does it take expert knowledge/skills to tell if the open source code is good quality or bad?

What does "circuit diagram process" mean?

The developer can deliver its promise to the investors by complete every roadmap at the time. That's the primary factor in determining the token that will promote growth for long-term.

That means if there are more demands on the token. It will attract more and more asap.
Do you mean, if the roadmap is done correctly and on scheduled/on time, then the company is set for long term growth? I understand that completion of the roadmap in a timely way and to a high standard shows the team/company is capable and serious, but does a roadmap really replace the profoundness and potential of an idea+business model+dedicated team?

Crypto Hedge Funds??
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 06/04/2018, 06:48:20 UTC
According to the U.K. research firm "Autonomous NEXT" there are already 68 crypto currency hedge funds. New ones are starting and the old ones are growing. How will this affect the crypto economy? Will it help bring it into the mainstream? Or will this put the crypto economy under the thumb of the institutions and individuals who run the fiat currency financial world?

Re: China Ban, Hong Kong the new Center
by

I think we need to report situation like this more accurately, China as never ban cryptocurrency but they feel "Initial Coin Offering" (ICO) is not transparent enough to guarantee investors safety and so they decided to ban ICO.

Is that so? Thank you for clarifying that. Ive read a lot of false things about the subject and will not repeat that misinformation.

How to Know if Token will be strong in Long-term?
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 06/04/2018, 04:17:55 UTC
What factors tell you if an Altcoin or new Token will grow in the LONG-term?

How do you know if a token will be worth money when speculation and high exchange volume trading is not pushing the price up? When people calm down on the crypto exchanges, what tokens/altcoins will survive? How do you know?

China Ban, Hong Kong the new Center
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 06/04/2018, 04:15:08 UTC
After China's ban of ICOs, mining facilities, and crypto currencies, Hong Kong is the new center for the Chinese crypto-world.

NEO (https://neo.org) and KNT (https://kora.network) are big ones who base in Hong Kong now, more will come. HK has been China's financial hub for many years, now it is slowly becoming China's crypto hub

Re: I have 5 ETH for buying Tokens
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 02/04/2018, 17:40:10 UTC
I bought 5 Ethereum to buy tokens in upcoming ICOs...what are best ones to buy now?

I looked a lot online (tokenmarket, icobench, icopotato, bitscreener) and only one looked REALLY good called Kora Network (https://kora.network) so I pay them 1 ETH in pre-sale. What I do with other 4 ETH???

THanks for help

decent stat https://www.coingecko.com/en/ico/kora-network
but the sale has not started yet

The Kora ICO got pushed back three weeks because of too many signups on their Whitelist and early Pre-Sale sell out. I did more research and will put 2 ETH into Kora and hold the other 3 for upcoming ICOs this quarter and next quarter.

Re: Do Altcoins really have a future?
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 31/03/2018, 23:47:24 UTC
Only altcoins/tokens that have lasting, long term demand will survive. Altcoins like EOS and GAS will survive because people always need them to use the EOS services and to produce blocks for Ethereum network. ICOs like this https://kora.network will survive because their business uses the Kora token like Ethereum uses GAS

This Why Altcoins will DIE
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 31/03/2018, 23:40:35 UTC
Altcoins never going to be the crypto CURrENCY people say. Only way altcoins survive is when the business USES the token themselves: business must create its own demand or don't have an ICO!

EOS creates demand for itself, so it will not die. GAS has its own demand, it will not die. Kora Network creates its own demand, it will not die. Only ICOs who make you need their token to use their service/business will survive...otherwise, don't buy into an ICO if the token won't sustain itself

Ripple will Die
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 30/03/2018, 08:28:25 UTC
Big/medium banks are never going to use Ripple, theyre only trying it out and will drop it then make their own technology (not de-centralized!)

Blockchain will change how we send money, but not through banks. Theyre completely against de-centralized control of financial system. We need blockchain solutions like Kora (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2876521.0) that are person to person and small business to small business

Re: I have $500 to invest today
by
~AnonCoinMan~
on 23/03/2018, 00:22:43 UTC
What's the best way to diversify starting with $500. I am overwhelmed right now with all the coins i am interested in. I'm just not sure if i should be only focused on the top 10 or can i pick xxx coin that's ranked between #40-#150. I can say i like about 15-20 coins/tokens i just feel that's way to many for $500. I would like to put half in blue chip coin and invest in some alts with the remaining half. I was thinking put $50 into 4 atls???
Idk man, i'm trying my hardest to figure this out. lol thank you for any help.

I'd save $50 for the KNT ICO in ten days (countdown ->>>> https://kora.network), they're ten cents per token but gona rise a lot right after ICO when it gets on exchanges
