guys, are there any steps to follow after i sent the btcd to the ico website? or just selecting address anytime before end of jan? can i use exchange wallet to withdraw kmd from ico website?

You need to request a payout. In order to do this you must
1-Create a seed in your dashboard, Agama, or a third party address like an exchange
2-Select the Payout tab
3-There are 2 options:
a-Paste the seed of your payout address / b-Paste third party address and select skip
4-Confirm the payout and wait until the date that James processes the payouts.
5-After payout, you can use your seed to access your funds or you will see them in your third party address.

Guys i still dont get it, sorry. Is there immediate need to do anything right now, after i sent (and received) my btcd on the ICO website? As i mentioned, if i skip passphase, the only withdrwrawal adress that the system allows is the one generated by ICO website, so i cannot change it to my echange one. Appologies for dumb questions...
If you visit the home tab you will see a seed. Save it, confirm it, and then you will be able to use it for the payout
To confirm the seed it will ask you to check a box, then paste the seed, then confirm. Afterwards you can use the seed for payout. After the payout is made on the 15th you can use the seed in Agama lite mode and send to your exchange account
understood thanks. so, it's not possible to withdraw directly to exchange and i will have to use Agma anyhow to make the transfer to my actual wallet correct? Are there any time restrictions for the payout? tnx!

somehow i dont think this works. when i click skip (as i wanna transfer to exchnage) the only thing what is happening is that the system gives u a predifined knmd adress and asks if you wanna confirm to send kmd to that address. could you pls check?

Somehow afterwards it got displayed, thanks. now i wired it. Quick question, can i request payout to the exchange wallet directly? Usually they dont participate in classic ICO's, when you send eth or btc and get a token back. in this case i assume it's different and it's safe to use exchange's wallet?

When I replied to you yesterday, I was not having the issue. I found the same issue later when I created a new account. Old accounts do not have this issue. That's why I could instantly see the address. Later on I found out it needs a few minutes until new accounts see the address. I also had the same issue with the qrcode reader. The text appeared empty too.

it will show you your address. You can copy paste it.

I have just tried something and it worked.
Right click on your qrcode image, copy image location and paste it somewhere. You will see your address in the URL
Also, in my case the address is shown below the qrcode in the swap page.

Great news! The BTCD blockchain is moving and ico.komodoplatform.com is back online.
If you plan to swap BTCD to KMD please *DO NOT use your old deposit address / account* - you need to create a new account in order to do the final swap. The ICO site will be publicly available shortly. You old accounts are all active and you can log into them - deposits to the old accounts will not be credited due to necessary changes to the system. If you made a deposit in the last weeks which did not get credited please provide our support guys those details:
a) email address
b) deposit address
c) tx-id
Please try to process your payment in the next 24-48 hours so you have ample time before the final date of January 15th.

Also, how does the swap actually works? on the website there is a manual how to do it via the wallet, but also there is a website which is currently down but will be working later. Are those 2 separate methods? I am just wondering as I have my BTCD on Bittrex and i am constantly reading that the network is slow - dont wanna miss the swap due to loooong waiting time for confimations
