It's happening just as you stated. Your HAT tokens must be in your erc20 compatible wallet. The swap should be a seamless process and you'll get the IFS activated HAT tokens.

noobman here, if i just hold my HAT tokens in my Etherdelta Wallet, will a snapshot be taken of my holdings? If not, what must be my next steps?
