This field is a business ... so you should understand the mentality of companies and businessmen well.

So they invest in projects they study well ... In the Blockchain there are hundreds of new projects, but very few of them will be selected. (Do not tire yourself and buy randomly .. study takes a long time)
To give you an example, Facebook, for example .. Any businessman or company can invest in it now, but profits will not be the same as invested in 2008 .. So they will not invest their money because they know that the profits will not be enough so they resort to a competitor or project believe that Facebook will compete ... Same thing in the Blockchain .. So this is the business world.

Notice: 10x -100x does not come in brief circumstance ... Duration 6-12-24 months
