The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?

To be honest here in our country financial education was not the biggest priority it terms of teaching, they're focusing on general standardize education process and flow, and yet in reality as long as you're yoing we should know how salary can be divided into span of weeks or months, proper way of managing money, income and what so ever. I just don't know why many people still are being tied up to a old fashioned school works. But in reality we are not helping those younger people to open their eyes about financial stability once they grow up. Facing the fact thay they're still young, but beiinf young os not forever and we need to be pratical on this mad world.
