Big exchanges create a lot of hype for a coin when they decide to list them. So price will spike on the current exchange. Example the rumour coin base will list ETC. Creates hype/price increase.

If the coin is not listed anywhere else prior to that announcement Dont buy on the new exchange. A lot of Newley listed things tend to go down before up
