PayPal has serious crypto ambitions!

They officially unveiled their crypto services in October last year with the launch of a partnership with industrial startup Paxos.

The services officially launched in the days following this announcement, opening it to eligible users in the United States on November 12.

They also have plans for a new special crypto business unit, according to CEO Daniel Schulman, who spoke during a conversation about the company's revenue on Wednesday. There he said:

"We all know that the current financial system is outdated and we can imagine a future where transactions are completed in seconds, not days; a future where transactions need to be cheaper to complete; and a future that allows all people to be part of the digital economy, not just the wealthy.
