About trust issue, I don't have any intention to sell your email addresses but if you can't trust me, please use a disposable email address and unrelated username.
Also, please set another password which you don't use usually.

One remark about passwords: the ones reusing passwords nowadays deserve whatever it's going to happen to them, whether it's from you or others

One more idea: add some banners, maybe restrict the use of your site to seeing those banners. At least to get a beer on behalf of your work.
