The first atomic swap you reported was actually the first swap done by anyone, ever, using SPV electrum servers. This means that a user can make an atomic swap WITHOUT the entire blockchain of both coins downloaded on your device (a monumental step, in my opinion!) This technology is available in the current BarterDEX GUI test release.

The first rudimentary atomic swap was completed by jl777 on May 3, 2014 - thats without order matching. A little over two years later in August 2016, the first atomic swap with order matching was completed. And weve come a long way since then!
