You can't expect such rate will be happening at the end of this year. AFAIK if the ethereum 2.0 will have done next year and this year the price of ethereum will be sitting at $600 as this year ethereum core developer can do 50% from the full update on ethereum 2.0

ETH is around 400$ now and anything above 500$ closing for this year end will be good. Lets see if bitcoin continues to rise, ETH will also rise else vice versa. So above 500$ for now is my next target for the ETH which is the minimum and hopefully it can even cross than and close much above in 2020.

$500 for ethereum at the end of this year is already a very high peak as it may show signs of decline anytime. But if the market will continue to show signs of bull run, it won't be surprising that those who invested in ethereum at its low price will definitely make huge profits by that time. And this updated version of ethereum 2.0 will gonna be a hit.

I am waiting for news 2.0 to come out as it will be important news to make investors more profitable and the $1000 price will only be a matter of time. Ethereum in recent months has been skyrocketing in price and this makes investor sentiment feel more excited to hold. One more thing, Defi projects are also stimulating demand for Ethereum as most current projects use the platform for development.
