Going with the symbol CARE on CB would have required a completely new listing. To expedite the process of getting relisted on CB, it was decided to stick with CBT.

The coin is not mineable anymore. Originally, before the fork, there was a brief period of mining using the scrypt algorithm. Everything is PoS now, with 20% of block rewards going to stakers and 80% to masternodes.
