It can be real or fake and it's your mistake if you will ever fall for them. But it's best to study all the cases and projects, DeFis or not to do research first and make it as your standard most of the time.

Mate, your words are similar with my thoughts. People are running on Defi the way people ran on ICO projects in 2017! It becomes a gamble now, many shit projects are coming and claiming they are Defi, Lol! People should careful because their one mistake can be the reason for all loss!
