One may not have to wait that long before it reaches that figure, though, it is a huge one.

I agree, the hold certainly yields fruits, but it is necessary to follow the dynamics of the price anyway. as you rightly noticed the price can grow for a couple of years, and then it will fall dramatically and if you miss this moment, then the hold will not be useful.
