Okay so here are a couple of points to consider if you plan to ASIC mine bitcoin.

#Electric#
You just want it to be as cheap as possible, since you are using domestic you may as well use any number of price comparison tools and perhaps even try to barter with them over the phone.
If you are using a Pay as you go Key meter, you'll get ripped off. Consider switching to a cheaper tarriff.
On domestic power? Check your breakers or the maximum load of the circuits, these miners will draw a huge current. For example a curcuit which has a max load of 32Amps could only handle a sustained maximum of around 7000Watts. Which is only 2 Antminer S19s.

#Hardware#

You obviously want the best retuns for your energy use, but of course the inital investment is higher for more efficient hardware. S19s are the best choice right now but currently cost around $10k upfront.

#Noise#
Since you mentioned you are mining at home, prepare yourself for extreme noise. ASIC miners usually use 12cm 6000RPM fans which whine something awful when blowing over heatsinks.
The level of noise will cause hearing damage and if you have neighbours, you'll get complaints.
If this would be an issue, consider GPU mining which is considerably quieter.

#Air/Heat#
You will have to supply your miners with clean cool air and get rid of a lot of hot air. You'll basically need a server room.
