These licenses have been implemented into the legislation with the purpose of regulating the cryptocurrency market.
Operation under these licenses provides a legal background for the company, proving that it acts in accordance with the international money laundering prevention standards.

2. What exactly do they allow?

They allow to carry out the emission of your own cryptocurrency and exchange it to fiat or other cryptocurrencies and vice versa.
Open cryptocurrency wallets for the clients.
Perform fiat to fiat currency exchange (please note that this license, requires a physical address in Estonia, so you will have to rent out and office, or buy it).

The company with said license will be able to establish a crypto-exchange or initiate and legally carry out an ICO project.
