If I use Bitcoin there is a likelihood that I wish to remain private, compelling users to divulge their bank details for a refund when an order is cancelled doesn't quite sit right with me. Understandably, they are using a payment processor, so all transactions made in bitcoins are immediately converted to fiat, they could however still hold some bitcoins in reserve precisely for this sort of situations.

It is not already a new idea that merchants will adopt the new mode of payment in order to convey some customers to buy. And as a customer, I think there are many customer right now specially those who are millennial will prefer to pay in bitcoin. Many parts of bitcoin is still unknown to the many, and most of the users are partly just going with the flow of the masses as they see it as good investments. We can't just abandon the thought of thieves lurking around, waiting for a great chance to attack and claim your coins easily now that it is in public market. Commonly, payments through bitcoins are private and anonymous but in public, we cant think of it the same, as the government may interfere about the rules of payments.
